The article describes a comprehensive approach to preparing patients with dentition defects living in unfavorable environmental conditions for orthopedic treatment as well as the importance of the comprehensive approach including advanced surgical preparation, wider application and proper selection of osteotropic agents, correction with medicines affecting bone tissue regeneration and the course of the postoperative period.

Development of Methods of Surgical Preparation of the Oral Cavity for Orthopedic Treatment

The article describes an integrated approach to preparing patients with dentition defects living in unfavorable environmental conditions for orthopedic treatment as well as the influence of the integrated approach including special surgical preparation and correction with medicines on the bone tissue. Treatment plan and selection of dental prosthesis were considered in order to preserve the abutment teeth and the bone tissue.

Improvement of Surgical Preparation of Patients with Partial Dentition Defects for Orthopedic Treatment

The article describes the status of the oral cavity in patients with dentition defects living in unfavorable environmental conditions previously treated with conventional methods of orthopedic treatment and the influence of an integrated approach including special surgical preparation and correction with medicines on the bone tissue. The choice of treatment plan was taken into account in order to preserve the abutment teeth and bone tissue of the alveolar process and alveolar ridge.
