Resonance Theory for Schroedinger Operators
Resonances which result from perturbation of embedded eigenvalues are studied
by time dependent methods. A general theory is developed, with new and weaker
conditions, allowing for perturbations of threshold eigenvalues and relaxed
Fermi Golden rule. The exponential decay rate of resonances is addressed; its
uniqueness in the time dependent picture is shown is certain cases. The
relation to the existence of meromorphic continuation of the properly weighted
Green's function to time dependent resonance is further elucidated, by giving
an equivalent time dependent asymptotic expansion of the solutions of the
Schr\"odinger equation. \keywords{Resonances; Time-dependent Schr\"odinger

Transverse Double-Spin Asymmetries for Dimuon Production in pp Collisions
We calculate the transverse double-spin asymmetry for the production of
dimuons in pp collisions as function of the dimuon rapidity and mass to
next-to-leading accuracy in the strong coupling. Predictions for BNL-RHIC and
HERA-N are made by assuming a saturation of Soffer's inequality at a low
hadronic input scale. It seems unlikely that transversity can be measured in
dimuon production at RHIC.Comment: 3 pages, 4 figures, talk given at DIS99, requires npb.sty, one

Polarized Quarks, Gluons and Sea in Nucleon Structure Functions
We perform a NLO analysis of polarized deep inelastic scattering data to test
two different solutions to the so called spin crisis: one of them based on the
axial gluon anomaly and consistent with the Bjorken sum rule and another one,
where the defects in the spin sum rules and in the Gottfried sum rule are
related. In this case a defect is also expected for the Bjorken sum rule. The
first solution is slightly favoured by the SLAC E154 results, but both options
seem to be consistent with the CERN SMC data.Comment: 19 pages, LateX, 6 figures. Figures included in the tex
A positivity bound for the longitudinal gluon distribution in a nucleon
The distribution of longitudinal gluons in a nucleon, introduced earlier by
Gorsky and Ioffe, is estimated from below by making use of the positivity of
density matrix and the analogue of the Wandzura-Wilczek relation for the
light-cone distributions of polarized gluons in a transversely polarized
nucleon.Comment: LATEX, 5 pages, Preprint CPT-97-P.355
TMD PDF's: gauge invariance, RG properties and Wilson lines
The UV divergences associated with transverse-momentum dependent (TMD) parton
distribution functions (PDF) are calculated together with the ensuing one-loop
anomalous dimensions in the light-cone gauge. Time-reversal-odd effects in the
anomalous dimensions are observed and the role of Glauber gluons is discussed.
A generalized renormalization procedure of TMD PDFs is proposed, relying upon
the renormalization of contour-dependent operators with obstructions.Comment: 4 pages, 1 figure. Talk presented at the International Workshop on

Features of elastic scattering at small t at the LHC
The problems linked with the extraction of the basic parameters of the hadron
elastic scattering amplitude at the LHC are explored. It is shown that one
should take into account the saturation regime which will lead to new effects
at the LHC.Comment: 3. pages, 6 figures, talk on the International workshop on
