    Anisotropic microwave conductivity of cuprate superconductors in the presence of CuO chain induced impurities

    The anisotropy in the microwave conductivity of the ortho-II YBa2_2Cu3_3O6.50_{6.50} is studied within the kinetic energy driven superconducting mechanism. The ortho-II YBa2_2Cu3_3O6.50_{6.50} is characterized by a periodic alternative of filled and empty b^\hat{b}-axis CuO chains. By considering the CuO chain induced extended anisotropy impurity scattering, the main features of the anisotropy in the microwave conductivity of the ortho-II YBa2_2Cu3_3O6.50_{6.50} are reproduced based on the nodal approximation of the quasiparticle excitations and scattering processes, including the intensity and lineshape of the energy and temperature dependence of the a^\hat{a}-axis and b^\hat{b}-axis microwave conductivities. Our results also confirm that the b^\hat{b}-axis CuO chain induced impurity is the main source of the anisotropy.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figure

    The phytohormone auxin has been known to be a regulator of plant growth and development ever since its discovery. Recent studies on plant–pathogen interactions identify auxin as a key character in pathogenesis and plant defense. Like plants, diverse pathogens possess the capacity to synthesize indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), the major form of auxin in plants. The emerging knowledge on auxin-signaling components, auxin metabolic processes, and indole-derived phytoalexins in plant responses to pathogen invasion has provided putative mechanisms of IAA in plant susceptibility and resistance to non-gall- or tumor-inducing pathogens

    Ethereum recently unveiled its upcoming roadmap's \textit{Splurge} phase, highlighting the integration of EIP-\hlhref{https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-3074}{4337} as a foundational standard for account abstraction (AA). AA aims to enhance user accessibility and facilitate the expansion of functionalities. Anticipatedly, the deployment of AA is poised to attract a broad spectrum of new users and ignite further innovation in DApps. In this paper, we elucidate the underlying operating mechanisms of this new concept, as well as provide a review of concurrent advancements in accounts, wallets, and standards related to its development. We step further by conducting a preliminary security evaluation to qualitatively assess the extent of security enhancements achieved through AA updates

Performing finite element simulation for the fastening belt with ANSYS Workbench software. Calculating the deformation and stress distribution of the fastening belt under impact loading. This method can accurately reflect the impact resistance of the fastening belt. Comparing with the design requirements can verify the reliability of the fastening belt

    Exploring transcriptional signalling mediated by OsWRKY13, a potential regulator of multiple physiological processes in rice

    BACKGROUND Rice transcription regulator OsWRKY13 influences the functioning of more than 500 genes in multiple signalling pathways, with roles in disease resistance, redox homeostasis, abiotic stress responses, and development. RESULTS To determine the putative transcriptional regulation mechanism of OsWRKY13, the putative cis-acting elements of OsWRKY13-influenced genes were analyzed using the whole genome expression profiling of OsWRKY13-activated plants generated with the Affymetrix GeneChip Rice Genome Array. At least 39 transcription factor genes were influenced by OsWRKY13, and 30 of them were downregulated. The promoters of OsWRKY13-upregulated genes were overrepresented with W-boxes for WRKY protein binding, whereas the promoters of OsWRKY13-downregulated genes were enriched with cis-elements putatively for binding of MYB and AP2/EREBP types of transcription factors. Consistent with the distinctive distribution of these cis-elements in up- and downregulated genes, nine WRKY genes were influenced by OsWRKY13 and the promoters of five of them were bound by OsWRKY13 in vitro; all seven differentially expressed AP2/EREBP genes and six of the seven differentially expressed MYB genes were suppressed by in OsWRKY13-activated plants. A subset of OsWRKY13-influenced WRKY genes were involved in host-pathogen interactions. CONCLUSION These results suggest that OsWRKY13-mediated signalling pathways are partitioned by different transcription factors. WRKY proteins may play important roles in the monitoring of OsWRKY13-upregulated genes and genes involved in pathogen-induced defence responses, whereas MYB and AP2/EREBP proteins may contribute most to the control of OsWRKY13-downregulated genes.This work was supported by grants from the National Program of High Technology Development of China, the National Program on the Development of Basic Research in China, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China
