After the successful investigation and confirmation of non zero θ13PMNS\theta_{13}^{PMNS} by various experiments, we are standing at a square where we still encounter a number of issues, which are to be settled. In this paper, we have extended our recent work towards a precise prediction of the θ23PMNS\theta_{23}^{PMNS} mixing angle, taking into account the neutrino mass hierarchy. We parameterize the non-trivial correlation between quark (CKM) and lepton (PMNS) mixing matrices in quark-lepton complementarity (QLC) model as Vc=UCKM.ψ.UPMNSV_{c}= U_{CKM}. \psi. U_{PMNS}, where ψ\psi is a diagonal phase matrix. Monte Carlo simulations are used to estimate the texture of VcV_{c} and compare the results with the standard Tri-Bi-Maximal (TBM) and Bi-Maximal(BM) structures of neutrino mixing matrix. We have predicted the value of θ23PMNS\theta_{23}^{PMNS} for normal and inverted neutrino mass hierarchies. The value of θ23PMNS\theta_{23}^{PMNS} obtained for two cases are about 1.3σ1.3\sigma away from each other, implying the better precision can give us a strong hint for the type of neutrino mass hierarchy.Comment: 3 pages, 3 figure

To protect the biological activity of an enzyme during the development of formulations is one of the biggest challenges. The tetrameric form of L-Asparaginase is used to treat Acute Lymphocytic Leukaemia. It possesses shorter in vivo half–life. Using a modified (water/oil)/water-emulsion method followed by solvent evaporation L-Asn was successfully encapsulated at the core of Solid Lipid Nanoparticles made of lipid glyceryl monostearate. This study elucidated that the preparation of L-Asn loaded SLN develop a colloidal formulation with enhanced activity. The in-vitro release profile of the enzyme revealed first bursts has been increased. The study of the lyophilised formulation also shows that the enzyme holds its biological activity and retains its particle size distribution. Consequently, by using an apt combination of homogenisation speed, temperature and additives the storage and biological activity of L-Asn in SLN formulation can be improved. Neutrinos are perhaps the most elusive particles in our Universe. Neutrino physics could be counted as a benchmark for various new theories in elementary particle physics and also for the better understanding of the evolution of the Universe. To complete the neutrino picture, the missing information whether it is about their mass or their nature that the neutrinos are Majorana particles could be provided by the observation of a process called neutrinoless double beta (0νββ) decay. Neutrinoless double beta decay is a hypothesised nuclear process in which two neutrons simultaneously decay into protons with no neutrino emission. In this paper we proposed a neutrino mass model based on A4 symmetry group and studied its implications to 0νββ decay. We obtained a lower limit on |Mee| for inverted hierarchy and which can be probed in 0νββ experiments like SuperNEMO and KamLAND-Zen.

The purpose of this experimental investigation is to determine how worker productivity may be enhanced by Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Participants in the AR condition reported completing tasks 16% faster on average and receiving a high user satisfaction rating of 4.56 out of 5. Participants in the AI condition reported a 4.3 feedback rating and a 13% decrease in task completion time. Surprisingly, productivity increased by a remarkable 22% with an average score of 62 when AR and AI were coupled. These results demonstrate how AR and AI technologies may significantly increase worker productivity in real-world work environments, highlighting their importance for companies looking to maximize labor effectiveness and decision-making procedures

L-Asparaginase (L-ASN) is a clinically approved chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and lymphosarcoma. The aim of this research study was to develop and to optimize solid lipid nanoparticle formulation loaded with enzyme L-Asparaginase using response surface methodology (RSM) [1]. The formulation was prepared by a modified double emulsion method followed by solvent evaporation technique using a combination of high-speed homogeniser (10000 rpm) and an automatic hotplate for a temperature 40°C.  Box-Behnken Design (BBD) was involved in the study to establish and to understand the relationship between selected design factors and the experimental data thus obtained. A set of 29 formulations were prepared in triplicate based on the recommendations of BBD.[2] The desired results obtained were found to be in close agreement with the experimental results. The responses were fitted to a quadratic; polynomial model. The statistical validation using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was done for the respective fitted models.[3] Response Surface Graphs and 3D contour plots were constructed to understand the effect of independent variables in different combinations on the desired responses. SLN prepared were found to be spherical in shape and the mean particle size ˂198 nm.[4] The polydispersity index (PDI) and the zeta potential recorded for the prepared formulation corresponding to the particle size was 0.096 ± 0.043 and −10.39 mV respectively. The enzyme drug loading was 10.11% ± 2.02 and the enzyme entrapment efficiency was found to be 76.19% ± 1.23. BBD found to be very effective in considering the effects of independent formulation variables to develop an optimised enzyme loaded SLN formulation with sufficient activity of the L-ASN enzyme. PRpnp, a novel dual activity PNP family protein improves plant vigor and confers multiple stress tolerance in Citrus aurantifolia

Summary Under field conditions, plants are often simultaneously exposed to several abiotic and biotic stresses resulting in significant reductions in growth and yield; thus, developing a multi-stress tolerant variety is imperative. Previously, we reported the neofunctionalization of a novel PNP family protein, Putranjiva roxburghii purine nucleoside phosphorylase (PRpnp) to trypsin inhibitor to cater to the needs of plant defense. However, to date, no study has revealed the potential role and mechanism of either member of this protein group in plant defense. Here, we overexpressed PRpnp in Citrus aurantifolia which showed nuclear-cytoplasmic localization, where it functions in maintaining the intracellular purine reservoir. Overexpression of PRpnp significantly enhanced tolerance to salt, oxidative stress, alkaline pH, drought, and two pests, Papilio demoleus and Scirtothrips citri in transgenic plants. Global gene expression studies revealed that PRpnp overexpression up-regulated differentially expressed genes (DEGs) related to ABA- and JA- biosynthesis and signaling, plant defense, growth, and development. LC-MS/MS analysis validated higher endogenous ABA and JA accumulation in transgenic plants. Taken together, our results suggest that PRpnp functions by enhancing the endogenous ABA and JA, which interact synergistically and it also inhibits trypsin proteases in the insect gut. Also, like other purine salvage genes, PRpnp also regulates CK metabolism and increases the levels of CK-free bases in transgenic Mexican lime. We also suggest that PRpnp can be used as a potential candidate to develop new varieties with improved plant vigor and enhanced multiple stress resistance
