Development of 2024 p/m aluminium alloy–SiCp nanocomposites via mechanical alloying
Aluminum alloy 2024 is the best known most widely used aircraft structural alloy. Now a days it is also gaining ground in automotive industry. In the present studies, 2024 P/M Al alloy and SiC particulates have been chosen as matrix and reinforcement materials, respectively. Mechanical alloying (MA) was used to obtain uniform SiCp dispersion in the matrix. MA powder was vacuum degassed and consolidated by hot pressing and subsequent hot forging. Thereafter the composites were heat treated to give T-6 temper. Optical and scanning electron microscopy of the composite was carried out and evaluation of mechanical properties was done. The principal objective of the present investigations was to determine how the particulate volume fraction and extent of mechanical alloying affect the microstructure and tensile properties of 2024 P/M Al alloy-SiCp composites. In these efforts it could be possible to develop nano composites of 2024 P/M Al alloy-SiCp having tensile strength of 504 MPa and modulus of elasticity of 105 GPa
Big Data Analytics
The basic of this dissertation is the rise of "big data" and the use of analytics to storehouse the data. Big data is mainly used to analyze the large amount of data. The Big data store large amount of data and provide helpful information in an efficient manner leads a system toward a serious computational challenges, like to analyze, mixture, and store, where information are remotely collected. In the recent times, data warehousing, data repository and data mining are mostly used for Bid data. Big data warehouse known as terabytes which mean data collect in warehouse was terabytes in storage but in recent time it is petabytes, and the data built at a high speed. The progress in companies and organization is mainly because it store and analyze the data at greater levels and in greater details, as well as meta data , Web data and code-generated data, to build better relationship between customer and market behavior. Big data provide helpful information to achieve a goal. A lot of companies in recent time use big data to improve their quality. Growth of big data increase at higher speed in recent time, even trend going in coming year

Intention to use and Adoption of IT Innovations in Organizations: A Meta-Analytic Examination of the Moderating Role of Innovation Type and Socio-Economic Context
Present paper conducts a meta-analysis of the innovation features that influence the intention to use and adoption of information technology (IT) innovation in the organizations. Previous studies that assessed the influence of innovation features on intention to use and adoption have found inconsistent results and thus created confusion among academicians and practitioners. Present study consolidates the findings of previous studies using meta-analysis to reveal the key factors behind organizations’ intention to use and adoption of IT innovations. The study takes a step further by also determining the moderating role of innovation type (product vs. service innovations) and socio-economic context (developing vs. developed countries) on the relationships of innovation features with intention to use and adoption of IT innovations. It also provides multiple insightful theoretical and practical implications
On the Effective throughput of Shadowed Beaulieu-Xie fading channel
Given the imperative for advanced wireless networks in the next generation
and the rise of real-time applications within wireless communication, there is
a notable focus on investigating data rate performance across various fading
scenarios. This research delved into analyzing the effective throughput of the
shadowed Beaulieu-Xie (SBX) composite fading channel using the PDF-based
approach. To get the simplified relationship between the performance parameter
and channel parameters, the low-SNR and the high-SNR approximation of the
effective rate are also provided. The proposed formulations are evaluated for
different values of system parameters to study their impact on the effective
throughput. Also, the impact of the delay parameter on the EC is investigated.
Monte-Carlo simulations are used to verify the facticity of the deduced
equations.Comment: 18 page
Impact of hand hygiene training module among healthcare providers working in neonatal intensive care unit: A before and after trial
Background: Healthcare-associated infections (HAI) include central line-associated bloodstream infections, catheter-associated urinary tract infections, and ventilator-associated pneumonia. Maintaining strict hand hygiene (HH) compliance and asepsis is pivotal in reducing the HAI. Objective: The objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of a training module on HH practices of healthcare providers (HCPs) working in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Methods: An uncontrolled before and after study was conducted in a tertiary level NICU of a government hospital. All HCPs working in the NICU were eligible and included in the analyses. In the pre-intervention Phase I (November–December 2016) and in the post-intervention Phase II (February–March2017), trained HH auditors noted the HH compliance of all HCPs. All HCPs were trained in HH practices using the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals SAFE-I Hospital infection control training module, and then, HH compliance was compared in both the phases. HH compliance rates were measured among HCP at the end of each phase. Results: Overall HH compliance rates improved significantly in phase II when compared with phase I (97% and 77%, respectively, p=0.0001). Conclusion: Maintaining high HH compliance in an intensive care setting is challenging; therefore, adopting training modules to educate HCPs significantly improves HH compliance rates
Correlating multi-functional role of cold shock domain proteins with intrinsically disordered regions
Cold shock proteins (CSPs) are an ancient and conserved family of proteins. They are renowned for their role in response to low-temperature stress in bacteria and nucleic acid binding activities. In prokaryotes, cold and non -cold inducible CSPs are involved in various cellular and metabolic processes such as growth and development, osmotic oxidation, starvation, stress tolerance, and host cell invasion. In prokaryotes, cold shock condition re-duces cell transcription and translation efficiency. Eukaryotic cold shock domain (CSD) proteins are evolved form of prokaryotic CSPs where CSD is flanked by N-and C-terminal domains. Eukaryotic CSPs are multi-functional proteins. CSPs also act as nucleic acid chaperons by preventing the formation of secondary structures in mRNA at low temperatures. In human, CSD proteins play a crucial role in the progression of breast cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, and Alzheimer's disease. A well-defined three-dimensional structure of intrinsically disordered re-gions of CSPs family members is still undetermined. In this article, intrinsic disorder regions of CSPs have been explored systematically to understand the pleiotropic role of the cold shock family of proteins
