In these interviews, Dwayne Rohweder discusses his time as an extension agent and a faculty member in the Department of Agronomy at UW-Madison. He also details his time working in Brazil where he helped farmers refine their availability forage for livestock. It will help determine which audio file(s) to download & listen to.Dwayne Rohweder served the UW system and the state of Wisconsin as both an extension agent and as a faculty member in the Department of Agronomy. Initially working in Iowa as a coop extension agent, Rohweder eventually earned his PhD and and came to UW where he worked with farmers around the state using scientific data to refine the available forage for livestock. In the late 1960s Rohweder traveled to Brazil and established similar programs at Universidade Federal do Rio Grand do Sul. He closes the interview by discussing professional life after Brazil, organizations he served, and the process of retirement

Seminar on Adjustment and its Problems in Southern Iowa
This publication includes seminar papers presented and discussed by staff members of Iowa State University during the winter quarter of 1959. The seminar was sponsored by the Center for Agricultural and Economic Adjustment and met for two hours per week over a period of nearly three months. The seminar was organized to include a group of about 70 members designated by the committee listed below. The formal seminar group discus sed each paper after its presentation. The papers were revised in line with these discussions by the seminar group and recommendations by the seminar committee.</p
