    A Company Profile as a Proposed Solution of Management Problems of “Widjaja Music” School Surabaya

    This project is a further step after taking an internship class in the previous semester. The writer had done an internship at Widjaja Music, music educational school located at Jalan Raya Darmo Permai Timur, No. 19P, West Surabaya, for 122 hours and 25 minutes within two months. Then, the writer found three problems in the institution during the internship, (1) the system of the music school is not good, (2) the facility for the administration is not well-supported, (3) and the music school does not have a clear background and history. Despite the writer\u27s position as an intern who does not have any power to make an important decision, she uses the company profile as the solution to make the improvements of those problems mentioned above. The company profile is specially designed for both customers and owners. For the customers, the writer emphasizes more on the good and strength side of Widjaja Music. For example, the good things about the various courses that Widjaja Music offers in the school. On the other hand, for the owner, the writer emphasizes more on evaluations that could build and strengthen Widjaja Music. For example, the thing that is not good enough is the personnel structure of the music school. By looking at the evaluation, the owner also could fix the weaknesses and keep the strengths of Widjaja Music. At last, the writer learned a lot about the music school throughout the process of making the company profile for Widjaja Music. Thus, the writer has known the basic things regarding the music school, which she found very useful later in her future career life

    Penerapan Layanan Konseling Kelompok Strategi Self-Management untuk Meningkatkan Self Control pada Siswa Kelas XI di SMK Negeri Rengel Tuban

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan konseling kelompok dengan strategi self management untuk meningkatkan kontrol diri (self control) pada siswa kelas XI  di SMK N Rengel Tuban. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pre test-post test. Subjek penelitian ini adalah empat siswa dari kelas XI di SMK N Rengel Tuban yang memiliki skor kontrol diri (self control) rendah yang telah diungkur dengan mengunkana angket kontrol diri (self control). Teknik analisis data ini yang digunakan adalah statistik non parametrik berupa uji tanda untuk menegtahui ada tidaknya perbedaan tingkat kontrl diri (self control) subjek antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa N=4 dan X=0 maka diperoleh α (kemungkian harga dibawah Ho)=0.04. bila dalam ketetapan α ( taraf kesalahan ) 5% adalah 0.05 dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan antara skor pre-tes dan post-tes setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa konseling kelompok self management. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini yang berbunyi “Penerapan layanan konseling kelompok strategi self management dapat meningkatkan self control pada siswa kelas XI di SMK N Rengel Tuban”.        Kata kunci: Konseling Kelompok Self Managament, Self Contro

    Pengaruh Faktor-faktor Fundamental Terhadap Harga Saham PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk Tahun 2004-2013

    The stock price reflects the value of a company. If the company achieve good performance, the company's stock will be much in demand by investors. Achieved a good performance can be seen in the company's financial statements published by the company (issuer).The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of fundamental factors to the stock price of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk period 2004-2013. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing using t-test and F test results showed that the partial net profit margin and return on equity does not affect the price of the shares of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk only earning per share which affect the stock price of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. Simultaneously, net profit margin, return on equity, and earnings per share effect on the stock price of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. The data obtained by the author in the form of secondary data to obtain these data the authors made a visit to the website of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk, the authors use the data overview of the financial period 2004 to 2013 were analyzed using SPSS

    GHRH|HaeIII Gene Polymorphism in Dairy and Beef Cattle at National Livestock Breeding Centers

    This study was aimed to identify polymorphism of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) gene in 89 heads of Holstein-Friesian (HF) dairy cattle from Lembang Artificial Insemination Center/LAIC (17 bulls), Singosari Artificial Insemination Center/SAIC (32 bulls), and Cipelang Livestock Embryo Center/CLEC (40 cows); as well as in 4 breeds of female beef cattle from CLEC for comparison, providing Simmental (13 cows), Limousin (14 cows), Brahman (5 cows), and Angus (5 cows). This study used PCR-RFLP method by using HaeIII restriction enzyme. The enzyme cut the GHRH gene at nucleotides of GG|CC at the base positions of 118, 312, and 406 and produced 4 fragments of 118, 194, 94, and 45 bp respectively.  Genotyping the GHRH gene produced two types of allele, namely A (312, 94, and 45 bp) and B (194, 118, 94, and 45 bp). These two alleles resulted in three types of genotype, namely AA (312, 94, and 45 bp), AB (312, 194, 118, 94, and 45 bp), and BB (194, 118, 94, and 45 bp).  Frequency of the B allele was dominant to the A allele. Chi-Square analysis showed that all of HF dairy and beef cattle observed were in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (X2 < X2(0.05)). The highest heterozygosity value was 0.471 for HF bulls in LAIC, while the lowest one was for HF bulls in SAIC. Heterozygosity values in Simmental and Limousin cattles were higher than that of in HF cattle. The GHRH gene in HF and beef cattle was polymorphic, the exception was for Brahman with the only B allele. This result will improve the understanding of the polymorphism of GHRH gene in dairy and beef cattle

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi, gaya kepemimpinan dan stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di Rumah Sakit Dharma Kerti Tabanan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada karyawan Rumah Sakit Dharma Kerti Tabanan. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 87 responden. pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Pengukuran data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert 5 poin. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan dan stres kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Rumah Sakit Dharma Kerti harus memberikan kompensasi yang sesuai dengan standar UMK Kabupaten Tabanan, pemimimpin juga harus mampu mengambil keputusan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan karyawan dan melakukan pembagian tugas dengan baik. Hal ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan di Rumah Sakit Dharma Kerti Tabanan

    In an effort to achieve Indonesia's welfare, one of the Government's policies that will be implemented is the implementation and implementation of the transmigration program. In general, the transmigration program offered by the government to all people without knowing their economic and family background so that the transmigration program is not well targeted. Based on the background of the problem in this research, how to design, build, develop and implement Fuzzy C-Means Clustering on the Mapping System in East Java province for the classification of Cities/Regencies that have the potential for Transmigration. The data was obtained from data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Java Province. The results obtained using the optimal Fuzzy C-Means method with 3 clusters.Dalam upaya mencapai kesejahteraan Indonesia, salah satu kebijakan Pemerintah yang akan dilaksanakan adalah penyelenggaraan dan pelaksanaan program transmigrasi. Pada Umumnya program transmigrasi yang ditawarkan oleh Pemerintah kepada semua masyarakat tanpa mengetahui latar belakang ekonomi dan keluarganya sehingga program transmigrasi tidak tepat sasaran. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana cara merancang, membangun, mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan Fuzzy C-Means Clustering pada Sistem Pemetaan di provinsi Jawa TImur untuk klasifikasi Kota/Kabupaten yang berpotensi Transmigrasi.
