Service quality is a critical component of customer perceptions about the service. The performance and quality parameters of any service are dependent on customer expectations and how efficiently and satisfactorily the service firm is able to serve its customers. This study employs the SERVQUAL method to study service quality aspects of retail stores in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The traditional quality dimensions for assessing the service quality have been modified to assess the customers’ service needs and satisfaction in the retail sector. The results showed that a high positive correlation existed between various service dimensions, and that customers’ evaluation of service quality was more or less similar across different age groups. This study aims at identifying components of retail service quality in retail chain store in Chittagong. A survey of 412 shoppers in various retail chain store in Chittagong has resulted that service quality of retain chain store composes of 5 dominant factors namely Tangibility, Reliability, Assurance, Responsiveness and Empathy. Due to increased competition, locally as well as internationally, organizations need a distinguishing element that will keep consumers identifying and buying their product. This study employs to analyze the relationship between demographic variables on the brand preference and is identifying the attributes that affect the choice behavior of mobile hand set as well as why the young consumers give special emphasis to some particular factors in Chittagong metropolitan city. From the study we see that though both male and female respondents now using Nokia (57.92%) hand set but about 50.61% of male & 59.85% of female respondent choices Samsung mobile set as their most favorite brand to next purchase because of android operating system. We also see that both newspaper (39.82%) and television (36.18%) has a great influence over the respondents to choose the above mentioned mobile hand set as their favorite brand. About 67.16 % of respondents are willing to spend money more than Tk. 10,000 to get the test of latest features provided by the various mobile set companies. JEL Classification Code:  E3

A CNN based Multifaceted Signal Processing Framework for Heart Rate Proctoring Using Millimeter Wave Radar Ballistocardiography

The recent pandemic has refocused the medical world's attention on the diagnostic techniques associated with cardiovascular disease. Heart rate provides a real-time snapshot of cardiovascular health. A more precise heart rate reading provides a better understanding of cardiac muscle activity. Although many existing diagnostic techniques are approaching the limits of perfection, there remains potential for further development. In this paper, we propose MIBINET, a convolutional neural network for real-time proctoring of heart rate via inter-beat-interval (IBI) from millimeter wave (mm-wave) radar ballistocardiography signals. This network can be used in hospitals, homes, and passenger vehicles due to its lightweight and contactless properties. It employs classical signal processing prior to fitting the data into the network. Although MIBINET is primarily designed to work on mm-wave signals, it is found equally effective on signals of various modalities such as PCG, ECG, and PPG. Extensive experimental results and a thorough comparison with the current state-of-the-art on mm-wave signals demonstrate the viability and versatility of the proposed methodology. Adoption of identity theft protection services in social media: A PMT investigation

In the last few years, social media has become a part of our lives. It is not a website anymore. It offers us blogging, watching videos, and connecting with more people. In our social media profiles, we create our virtual identity. We share every piece of information connected to our lives. Social media has become a very important part of our lives. Social media changes itself tremendously; it also makes it possible for criminals to take their work to another level. Many crimes happen on social media. One of them is identity theft. As we create our own identities on social media. There is a high risk of identity theft. For this reason, many identity theft protection services have been created. With identity theft protection, we are able to protect our identities on social media. Those identity theft production services are my best product because they help us identify identity threats and get rid of them. They give us protection from identity theft in exchange for some monthly fees. But those services are not common in our nation. We don't know if those services will work in our country or not. With this thesis, we will be able to find out the adoption intention of social media identity theft protection services in our country through PMT investigations

Co-imaging of RelA and c-Rel reveals features of NF-κB signaling for ligand discrimination

Summary: Individual cell sensing of external cues has evolved through the temporal patterns in signaling. Since nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) signaling dynamics have been examined using a single subunit, RelA, it remains unclear whether more information might be transmitted via other subunits. Using NF-κB double-knockin reporter mice, we monitored both canonical NF-κB subunits, RelA and c-Rel, simultaneously in single macrophages by quantitative live-cell imaging. We show that signaling features of RelA and c-Rel convey more information about the stimuli than those of either subunit alone. Machine learning is used to predict the ligand identity accurately based on RelA and c-Rel signaling features without considering the co-activated factors. Ligand discrimination is achieved through selective non-redundancy of RelA and c-Rel signaling dynamics, as well as their temporal coordination. These results suggest a potential role of c-Rel in fine-tuning immune responses and highlight the need for approaches that will elucidate the mechanisms regulating NF-κB subunit specificity
