This paper presents the history of the development of the method for calculating the crack resistance of reinforced concrete elements according to Soviet and modern design standards, which was based on the work of the Soviet and foreign scientists, such as: A.F. Loleit, V.I. Murashev, A.A. Gvozdev, S.A. Dmitriev, A. Clark, J. Monier and others. Also, the article discusses the currently updated calculation methods for the formation and opening of normal cracks according to domestic and foreign standards

Modern concept of differential diagnosis of colitis: from G.F. Lang to the present day. A review

The aim of the article is to improve the differential diagnosis of specific and nonspecific inflammatory bowel diseases. In Russia, this scientific direction is associated with the name of G.F. Lang, who performed in 1901–1902 the study β€žOn ulcerative inflammation of the large intestine caused by balantidiasisβ€œ. The etiology of specific colitis is associated with infection with parasites, bacteria and viruses that cause inflammation of the intestinal wall, diarrhea, often with an admixture of mucus, pus and blood. Specific colitis (SC) may be accompanied by fever, abdominal pain, and tenesmus. Bacterial colitis is commonly caused by Salmonella, Shigella, Escherichia coli, Clostridium difficile, Campylobacter jejuni, Yersinia enterocolitica, and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Viral colitis is caused by rotavirus, adenovirus, cytomegalovirus, and norovirus. Parasitic colitis can be caused by Entamoeba histolytica and balantidia. In gay people, SC can cause sexually transmitted infections: Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Chlamydia trachomatis, and treponema pallidum, affecting the rectum. Stool microscopy, culture, and endoscopy are used to establish the diagnosis. Stool culture helps in the diagnosis of bacterial colitis in 50% of patients, and endoscopic studies reveal only nonspecific pathological changes. Differential diagnosis of SC should be carried out with immune-inflammatory bowel diseases (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, undifferentiated colitis), radiation colitis and other iatrogenic bowel lesions. The principles of diagnosis and therapy of inflammatory bowel diseases associated with various etiologica

Commercial articulated collaborative in situ 3D bioprinter for skin wound healing

    Get PDF
In situ bioprinting is one of the most clinically relevant techniques in the emerging bioprinting technology because it could be performed directly on the human body in the operating room and it does not require bioreactors for post-printing tissue maturation. However, commercial in situ bioprinters are still not available on the market. In this study, we demonstrated the benefit of the originally developed first commercial articulated collaborative in situ bioprinter for the treatment of full-thickness wounds in rat and porcine models. We used an articulated and collaborative robotic arm from company KUKA and developed original printhead and correspondence software enabling in situ bioprinting on curve and moving surfaces. The results of in vitro and in vivo experiments show that in situ bioprinting of bioink induces a strong hydrogel adhesion and enables printing on curved surfaces of wet tissues with a high level of fidelity. The in situ bioprinter was convenient to use in the operating room. Additional in vitro experiments (in vitro collagen contraction assay and in vitro 3D angiogenesis assay) and histological analyses demonstrated that in situ bioprinting improves the quality of wound healing in rat and porcine skin wounds. The absence of interference with the normal process of wound healing and even certain improvement in the dynamics of this process strongly suggests that in situ bioprinting could be used as a novel therapeutic modality in wound healing.publishersversionPeer reviewe

Fine grained concrete structures reliability assessment: theory and investigational studies

    No full text
Describes the theoretical preconditions of using mechanical properties of fine-grained concrete in the design of concrete structures subject to risks and the general safety. A technique for experimental studies and data on the fine-grained concrete deformative properties at different ages and different loading levels are presented. The regularities of the modulus of elasticity change from strength, type and age of concrete are revealed. Full diagrams of deformation of concrete are constructed. The results obtained can be used in the design of the fine-grained concrete structures in buildings having risks occurrence socioeconomic losses and able to resist of emergency actions

Network concept of intelligent digital supply chain

    No full text
All over the world, the innovation process is considered to be a separate process of interaction between the elements of the national innovation system, the result of which is the commercialization of a new product or technology. However, consideration of the innovation process in the digital intellectual supply chain network grid within the framework of the smart factory concept allows to put forward a hypothesis about the immanence nature of innovation in all parts of the supply chain network. The main purpose of the research is to study both the place and the role of the innovation process describing the concept of intelligent digital supply chain network grid. A new method of research is presented in the paper fundamental problems of innovations theory in the modern consideration of the theory of logistics and supply chain management. The authors developed a specific approach to considering the digital supply chain as an intelligent logistic network based on the researching the wide range of different compound connections instead of linear structure of traditional supply chain. It is proved that the research of influence of the new technological mode regarding the theoretical concept of implementation of digital and virtual technologies in the economy of the digital industry could be stemmed into the theoretical problem of determining the place and role of innovation in economic dynamics. From this point of view the model of network representation of an intelligent digital supply chain is substantiated. The results of the research involve the types of supply chains, the place and role of innovation process life cycle models in an intelligent digital supply chain. The conclusion is drawn that it is necessary to consider a continuous process from an innovative idea to product support. The necessity for further studies of the digital core of economic relations arising from the development of innovations in the network representation of a digital intellectual supply chain could be discussed

The sorption properties of the materials with respect to noble metal ions, in particular palladium(II) from hydrochloric acid solutions have been studied. The materials obtained have been characterized using a complex of physical and chemical methods before and after functionalization. The evaluation of the sorption capacity of the obtained sorbents with respect to Pd(II) ions has been performed. Experimental results show high sorption activity of thiol-functionalized mesoporous silic
