A Multi-hop Topology Control Based on Inter-node Range Measurement for Wireless Sensor Networks Node Localization
In centralized range-based localization techniques, sufficiency of inter-node range information received by the base station strongly affects node position estimation results. Successful data aggregation is influenced by link stability of each connection of routes, especially in a multi-hop topology model. In general, measuring the inter-node range is only performed for position determination purposes. This research introduces the use of inter-node range measurement information for link selection in a multi-hop route composition in order to increase the rate of data aggregation. Due to irregularity problems of wireless media, two areas of node communication have been considered. The regular communication area is the area in which other nodes are able to perform symmetrical communication to the node without failure. The irregular area is the area in which other nodes are seldom able to communicate. Due to its instability, some existing methods tried to avoid the irregular area completely. The proposed method, named Virtual Boundaries (VBs) prioritizes these areas. The regular communication area’s nodes have high priority to be selected as link vertices; however, when there is no link candidate inside this area, nodes within the irregular area will be selected with respect to their range to the parent node. This technique resulted in a more robust multi-hop topology that can reduce isolated node numbers and increase the percentage of data collected by the base station accordingly
Superwind-driven Intense H Emission in NGC 6240 II: Detailed Comparison of Kinematical and Morphological Structures of the Warm and Cold Molecular Gas
We report on our new analysis of the spatial and kinematical distribution of
warm and cold molecular gas in NGC 6240, which was undertaken to explore the
origin of its unusually luminous H emission. By comparing three-dimensional
emission-line data (in space and velocity) of CO (J=2-1) in the radio and H
in the near infrared, we are able to study the H emitting efficiency,
defined in terms of the intensity ratio of H to CO [(H)/(CO)], as
a function of velocity. The integrated H emitting efficiency is calculated
by integrating the velocity profile of H emitting efficiency in blue, red,
and total (blue + red) velocity regions of the profile. We find that (1) both
the total H emitting efficiency and the blue-to-red ratio of the efficiency
are larger in regions surrounding the CO and H intensity peaks, and (2) the
H emitting efficiency and the kinematical conditions in the warm molecular
gas are closely related to each other. A collision between the molecular gas
concentration and the external superwind outflow from the southern nucleus
seems plausible to explain these characteristics, since it can reproduce the
enhanced emitting efficiency of blueshifted H around the molecular gas
concentration, if we assume that the superwind blows from the southern nucleus
toward us, hitting the entire gas concentration from behind. In this model,
internal cloud-cloud collisions within the molecular gas concentration are
enhanced by the interaction with the superwind outflow, and efficient and
intense shock-excited H emission is expected as a result of the

Modular Solutions to Equations of Generalized Halphen Type
Solutions to a class of differential systems that generalize the Halphen
system are determined in terms of automorphic functions whose groups are
commensurable with the modular group. These functions all uniformize Riemann
surfaces of genus zero and have --series with integral coefficients.
Rational maps relating these functions are derived, implying subgroup relations
between their automorphism groups, as well as symmetrization maps relating the
