    No full text
This paper is mainly focus to answer the question can you make a cell phone, change the world?". Mobile autonomous Systems received considerable interest in research and development communities. As the Technology future belongs to the Mobile Devices. More efforts will be employed on Mobile Application development. Most of the desktop and laptop computers will be replaced by intelligent mobile devices, iPhones and iPads. The development of low cost computer has brought the most recent revolution, the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). PLCs have been gaining popularity on the factory floor and will probably remain predominant for some time to come. Simplification of engineering and precise control of manufacturing process can result in significant cost savings [1]. This paper presents a automized control system which offers safety, security mobility, and precautions in the alarming situations for the industrial plant as well as it will decrease the machine downtime, labor cost and increase the productivity of the industrial plant

Dual Stack Deployment in a Carrier Grade Network to Fulfill the Demands of Next Generation of Internet

    No full text
The Internet is migrating from IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4) to IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6). The high cost of migration services from IPv4-IPv6 and system complexity are main factors for slow adaption of IPv6 This paper presents the implementation of migration techniques from IPv4-IPv6. Furthermore, existing IPv4 addresses have already been depleted in IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) and will be soon exhausted in RIR (Regional Internet Registry) while more clients are joining the Internet. Slower rate of the progress of IPv6 confirms complete shifting from IPv4-IPv6 at once is still long away, although fewer parts of IPv6 have been employed in current market goods. Integration of IPv4 and IPv6 is carried in order to take care of online users. In this paper, it is suggested that hierarchical direction finding structural design in IPv4 and IPv6 will improve the efficiency of IPv4 network. This research work provides the way to design the network scenario for the carrier grade set of connections. The carrier grade network scenario routers are named to be Karachi, Sukkur, Islamabad, Multan and Peshawar for the managerial simulation purposes. The carrier grade network deployment is implemented along with dual stack to migrate to IPv6. This study holds the way to deploy IPv4-IPv6 carrier grade network by providing real time scenario which is yet not considered in the literature to the best of our knowledg

An Efficient Channel Model for OFDM and Time Domain Single Carrier Transmission Using Impulse Responses

    No full text
The OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) is well-known, most utilized wideband communication technique of the current era. SCT (Single Carrier Transmission) provides equivalent performance in time domain while decision equalizer is implemented in frequency domain. SCT annihilates the ICT (Inter Carrier Interference) and the PAPR (Peak to Average Power Ratio) which is inherent to OFDM and degrades its performance in time varying channels. An efficient channel model is presented in this contribution, to implement OFDM and SCT in time domain using impulse responses. Both OFDM and SCT models are derived dialectically to model the channel impulse responses. Our model enhances the performance of time domain SCT compared with OFDM and subsides the PAPR and ICI problems of OFDM. SCT is implemented at symbol level contained in blocks. Simulation results implementing Digital Radio Monadiale (DRM) assert the performance gain of SCT over OFDM

A Bilateral Filter Based Post-Processing Approach for Supervised Spectral-Spatial Hyperspectral Image Classification

    No full text
To effectively improve the performance of representation based classifier, a spatial spectral joint classification post-processing approach is proposed, based on the application of edge preserving BF (Bilateral Filtering) method. The proposed framework includes two key processes: (1) the classifier (such as SRC, CRC, or KSRC) based on sparse representation of each pixel is used to obtain softclassified probabilities belonging to each information class for each pixel; (2) spatial spectral joint BF for the soft-classified probabilities map. It is aimed to integrate context-aware information for each pixel class labels. Under the spatial guidance image, extracted from the three principle component, a BF is employed to get the refined probability maps. The BF considers not only the spatial distance but it also considers the image context-aware distance which significantly improves the classification results. Finally, the class label is obtained by choosing the maximum probability criteria. The experimental results on three benchmark hyperspectral data sets showed that the “local smoothing” is efficient and has a potential to achieve high classification accuracy. All the algorithms are implemented with equal number of labeled samples and comparative results are presented in terms of visual classification map and numerical classification results. The major advantages of proposed method are: it is simple, non-iterative and easy to implement. Hence, the advantages lead to significant usage in real applications
