STUDY OF SOME PEDOLCLIMATIC FACTORS THAT CHARACTERIZE THE VITICULTURAL AREA OF SAMBURESTI
In this paper are presented aspects from a geological point of view regarding the territory of Samburesti commune, which has a sedimentary cover with lithology and varying thickness; the upper part of this blanket, of molasses nature, corresponds to the Neogene and Quaternary and thickens in the orogenous contact area - the platform, presenting a series of oil structures
STUDY OF SOME PEDOCLIMATE FACTORS THAT CHARACTERIZE THE VINEYARD AREA FROM DRAGASANI
This paper presents geological aspects regarding the territory of Dragasani vineyard, an area belonging to the molasses area known in the literature as Getic Depression, an area located on Pleistocene deposits made of clays, sands and gravels
CLIMATE TRENDS IN OLTENIA. CASE STUDY: DRĂGĂȘANI
This study is the first one in a series of papers that analyzes the climate trend in Oltenia, a historical region of Romania, located in the south-west of the country. The region is important due to its agricultural potential, with many vineyards known at national and international level. In this context, the paper aims to characterize the climate in the area of Drăgășani vineyard. This approach is necessary because the climatic factors are extremely variable and have a dynamic, noticed also by many researches, which leads to climate change, with implications for all socio-economic activities. This study was based on meteorological records made over a period of 52 years in order to highlight these changes in Oltenia. A series of statistical indices of the data were calculated to indicate the climate trend in this region and the implications it may have on viticulture
RESEARCHES ON THE FERTILITY AND PRODUCTIVITY RESPECTIVE POTENTIAL DEGREES HELD BY THE OFFSHOOTS ISSUED FROM CERTAIN VINE KINDS FOR TABLE GRAPES CULTIVATED IN THE DEALUL OLT - DRĂGĂȘANI VINEYARD
The local climate’s potentialities from which the Drăgășani vineyard does effectively benefit do allow the vine plants not just to realize within their grapes the respective synthesis processes of whatever among their finally obtained chemical constituents no matter how complex their structures could be but furthermore to achieve them under some quite large quantitative ratios. Yet this genuine natural abundance of climate potentialities is accompanied by no climate roughnesses at all which could concomitantly have caused to the grapes whatever losses and alterations that might subsequently have deteriorated their genuinely established intrinsic constitutive harmony. The statistical data respectively gathered in regard to the fertility degrees, the productive ratio of their offshoots as well as the quantities and qualities of their grapes’harvests for some vine kinds cultivated in the Drăgășani zone which do produce table grapes such as: CoarnãNeagrã, Afuz Ali, Victoria or ChasselasDoré do attest the respective facts that the above mentioned vine kinds do provide outputs which simultaneously are economically profitable and qualitatively the best. Insofar the production of sultanas could be concerned the statistical indices which have been recorded in the respective cases of the vine kinds of Sultaninã and Cãlina (which is a created hybrid between the kinds of Sultaninã and Braghinã) are attesting the respective achievements of some both quantitatively adequate or either very good harvests and bearing an excellent level of quality
STUDY CONCERNING THE EVOLUTION OF VINEYARDS IN THE NORTH WEST REGION OF ROMANIA AND IN CLUJ COUNTY
The study regarding the evolution of the vineyard surfaces on private property forms, in the North West development region as well as in Cluj Country, over the period 1990-2019, provides the creation of the main image describing the direction of development in the vine- and viticultural field, an important component of agriculture.Such an orientation has already emerged:the viticulture will be organized within the territorial limits of traditional areas. In the future, we foresee the establishment of new viticultural plantations, in areas with oenological potential. In Cluj Country, there is a fovourable direction in the development of viticultural areas. In 1990, the private form of vineyards was timidly represented, later it is described as a debut for the establishment of new vineyards in Cluj County, in Turda, on the Durgău hills, a place where vineyards have been cultivated for thousands of years. (Potaissa). In recent years, we can see an association between the culture of the vine and the tourist component of these areas, created and developed similarly within the local and regional tradition (from Transylvania)
STUDIES REGARDING THE EVOLUTION OF CLIMATE INDICES IN THE MATURATION PROCESS OF GRAPES IN DRĂGĂŞANI VINEYARD
The Drăgăşani vineyard has a favorable climate to ensure the ripening of the grapes as well as the strings necessary for next year's fruit. Being located in the Getic plateau, the vineyard has a temperate Mediterranean climate with oceanic influence. The study was carried out at the Research and Development Station for viticulture and vinification Drăgăşani on Olt Hill in 2019. The objective of the study was to monitor the influence of the climatic profile on the physico-chemical parameters in the grape ripening process. For the evaluation of the area, the active and useful balance, the real insolation, the sum of precipitations, the heliothermal index, hydrothermal coefficient, the bioclimatic index of the vine and the oenoclimatic aptitude index during the vegetation and development period were calculated
STUDY ON THE CARTOGRAPHY AND ECOPEDOCLIMATIC CONDITIONS OF CARASU VALLEY
This paper presents the medieval and contemporary cartographic study and the ecopedoclimatic conditions of the Carasu Valley, located in southern Dobrogea, between the Danube and Black Sea. The Carasu Valley delimits the northern plateaus from the southern ones, of Constanta County. Is the only valley that crosses the Medgidia Plateau almost entirely On the both sides of the Carasu Valley is sprending a single vineyard, the Murfatlar vineyard with its wine centers. Also, the paper presents the ecopedoclimatic conditions of this area, conditions that influence the cultivation of vines. Here are the richest heliothermal resources (up to 3,5), with beneficial effects on the grapes maturation, and the presence of the Black Sea makes the sum of effective brightness hours of the sunshine to be the longest in the country, but the volume of precipitation is low
VIEWS ON SOME OF THE MORE IMPORTANT WEEDS FROM THE CORCOVA VITICULTURE PLANTATIONS
This paper presents an analysis of the seedlings found in the Corcova viticultural center, the degree of spreading, as well as some aspects related to their biology and ecology. Weeds are harmful to agriculture, fruit growing, vegetables and viticulture. The term weed is attributed to spontaneous, herbaceous plants that grow in cultivated or uncultivated places, their presence inducing harmful effects on useful plants. According to the place where they grow, two categories of weeds are distinguished: segetal weeds, they grow in cultivated places; ruderal weeds, grow in uncultivated places
