Art as the Commentary of Life
Literature has always been a mighty weapon in bringing reality to surface. It is the reflection of mirror in the form of print that actually ushers to forefront the reality of life. The main aim of art is to revolutionize the world in general and society in particular. “Art for the Sake of Life” generally refers to the notion that art makes us understand the conduct of everyday life. Although art encompasses literature yet it is more than that because it deals with every aspect of our life. It is the way to justify the grim realities of life while beautifying them. As a famous writer James Baldwin accords that “one can’t write a line without a message”. Art is a way of expressing oneself. Many people use it to express boundless emotions and thoughts, from turbulence to euphoria to bewilderment that everyone has within the heart, mind and soul. The authors have discovered an escape through art to seek meaning via truth, not just for the sake of art, but for the sake of life. Writers tweak the image of specific challenges so that a reader can see them through the same lens. George Bernard Shaw also avows that “For art’s sake alone I would not face the toil of writing a single sentence”. So, an artist should be moralist encumbered with a reforming zeal. Thus “Art for the sake of life” is a maxim that should be applied to all art; art with style, sophistication, pathos, and psychological resonance. It is not thus for the art’s sake rather it is for the life’s sake or social sake. Art is a medicine or elixir of pain which makes life bearable. The main aim of this paper is to showcase how art in general as well as in particular is only for life’s sake and not for art’s sake. Art thus has a cosmic phenomenon with a universal impact
Geographical Evaluation of Socio-economic Condition of Sargodha City to Measure Urban Poverty
The current study presents the socio economic conditions of people of Sargodha city to analyze the urban poverty level. Research was accomplished during the year of 2016-2018. Urban poverty is a burning social issue in world when a person do not succeeds to carry out his family needs and wants. A survey was conducted in eleven different colonies and 188 households were visited. Poverty level was scrutinized according to international poverty line less than 1 Dollar per day. During the field survey it was perceived that 17 percent of the households have income of less than 1 Dollar per day and they were real poor. Different parameters were examined like slums, dependency ratio, income, transportation, drinking water scheme, sewerage system and literacy rate. These parameters have compared with poverty to analyze the affordability and living condition of people. It was examined that there were several reasons for poverty in city like unemployment / low income, less education, high dependency ratio etc. Most of the people have large families but low income due to not as much of education and more dependent people in households. It was also suggested that Government should make better living conditions for people by providing technical skills to uneducated person to diminish unemployment and should advance the sanitation problems for better lifestyle

Comparative analysis of optimal power flow in renewable energy sources based microgrids
Adaptation of renewable energy is inevitable. The idea of microgrid offers integration of renewable energy sources with conventional power generation sources. In this research, an operative approach was proposed for microgrids comprising of four different power generation sources. The microgrid is a way that mixes energy locally and empowers the end-users to add useful power to the network. IEEE-14 bus system-based microgrid was developed in MATLAB/Simulink to demonstrate the optimal power flow. Two cases of battery charging and discharging were also simulated to evaluate its realization. The solution of power flow analysis was obtained from the Newton–Raphson method and particle swarm optimization method. A comparison was drawn between these methods for the proposed model of the microgrid on the basis of transmission line losses and voltage profile. Transmission line losses are reduced to about 17% in the case of battery charging and 19 to 20% in the case of battery discharging when system was analyzed with the particle swarm optimization. Particle swarm optimization was found more promising for the deliverance of optimal power flow in the renewable energy sources-based microgrid
A Review of antihyperlipidemic effect of synthetic phenolic compounds
It is seen that most of the deaths are occurring due to diseases of cardiovascular system. There is a significant impact of lifestyle changes on the quality of health. Utilization of food highly rich with saturated fat and having low fiber content is one of the factors of disarray in energy balance. It is now evinced that hyperlipidemia is depicted as a major risk factor for the premature development of atherosclerosis and its cardiovascular complications. The prevalence of obesity has doubled in the past 25 years; today, two-thirds of adults are overweight in the United State [1]
Schrodinger Wave Equation for Simple Harmonic Oscillator
In physics, harmonic motion is among the most representative types of motion. A simple harmonic oscillator is often the source of any vibration with a restoring force proportional to Hooke’s law. Every minimum potential has a solution in the form of the harmonic oscillator potential. Little oscillations at the minimum are characteristic of almost all natural potentials and of many quanta mechanical systems. Harmonic motion is an essential building block for these more complex uses. The Schrödinger equation is a defining feature of the harmonic oscillator. Here, we demonstrate that the time-frequency plane is a useful tool for analyzing their dynamics. We numerically integrate several examples involving different input forces and demonstrate that the oscillations are clearly displayed and easily interpretable in the time-frequency plane
The Impact of Migration on Rural Poverty: The Case Study of District Faisalabad, Pakistan
Internal-migration is the process of displacement of people within a country, mostly for better employment. Pakistan is among those South-Asian countries who have high rate of internal-migration. Poverty is considered to be an important factor in this context. This study estimates the rural-household poverty in Pakistan's Faisalabad District and the impact of internal-migration on rural-household poverty. By using stratified random sampling technique, 180 respondents were selected and interviewed. Propensity Score Matching method was used to examine the causal effect of internal-migration on household-poverty level. Results reveal that the ATT estimates of 0.18 for poverty reduction which shows that the household participation in the internal-migration decreases the probability of poverty by 0.18 points, suggesting that internal-migration has a significant impact on poverty reduction among the rural-households. The study suggests the policy makers to focus on rural development and enhance labor productivity, so that internal-migration is discouraged, which will ultimately reduce poverty.

Synthesis of N-substituted acetamide derivatives of azinane-bearing 1,3,4-oxadiazole nucleus and screening for antibacterial activity
Purpose: To synthesize some acetamide derivatives bearing azinane and 1,3,4-oxadiazole heterocyclic cores and to evaluate their antibacterial potentials. Methods: Ethyl piperidin-4-carboxylate (2) was converted to ethyl 1-[(4-chlorophenyl)sulfonyl]piperidin- 4-carboxylate (3), 1-[(4-chlorophenyl)sulfonyl]piperidin-4-carbohydrazide (4) and 5-[1-(4-chlorophenylsulfonyl)-4-piperidinyl]-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-thiol (5) using three consecutive steps. The target molecules, 5-{1-[(4-chlorophenyl)sulfonyl]piperidin-4-yl}-2-{[N-(substituted)-2-acetamoyl]thio]}-1,3,4- oxadiazole (8a-n) were synthesized by stirring 5 and N-aryl-2-bromoacetamides (7a-n) in an aprotic polar solvent. The structures were corroborated by infrared (IR), electron impact mass spectrometry (EIMS) and proton/carbon nuclear magnetic resonance (1H/13C-NMR) spectroscopic techniques. The evaluation of antibacterial activity was based on the effect on the increase in absorbance of the broth medium due to log phase microbial growth. Results: Compound 8g bearing a 2-methylphenyl group was the most the active growth inhibitor of Salmonella typhi, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis bacterial strains with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of 10.63±0.97, 10.31±1.00, 10.45 ± 0.94 and 11.77±5.00 μM, respectively. Ciprofloxacin was used as reference standard. Conclusion: All the synthesized compounds are moderate inhibitors but relatively more active against Gram-negative bacterial strains. 5-{1-[(4- Chlorophenyl)sulfonyl]piperidin-4-yl}-2-{[N-(2-methylphenyl)-2- acetamoyl]thio]}-1,3,4-oxadiazole (8g) is the most active growth inhibitor of all the strains except Staphylococcus aureus. Keywords: 1,3,4-Oxadiazole, Acetamides, Antibacterial activity, Piperidin
