Cardy-Verlinde formula of Kehagias-Sfetsos black hole
In this paper, we have shown that the entropy of the Kehagias-Sfetsos black
hole in Hoava-Lifshitz (HL) gravity can be expressed by the
Cardy-Verlinde formula. The later is supposed to be an entropy formula of
conformal field theory in any dimension.Comment: 10 pages, accepted by IJT
Interacting new agegraphic Phantom model of dark energy in non-flat universe
In this paper we consider the new agegraphic model of interacting dark energy
in non-flat universe. We show that the interacting agegraphic dark energy can
be described by a phantom scalar field. Then we show this phantomic description
of the agegraphic dark energy and reconstruct the potential of the phantom
scalar field.Comment: 8 pages, no figur
Bouncing cosmological solutions due to the self-gravitational corrections and their stability
In this paper we consider the bouncing braneworld scenario, in which the bulk
is given by a five-dimensional AdS black hole spacetime with matter field
confined in a brane. Exploiting the CFT/FRW-cosmology relation, we
consider the self-gravitational corrections to the first Friedmann-like
equation which is the equation of the brane motion. The self-gravitational
corrections act as a source of stiff matter contrary to standard FRW cosmology
where the charge of the black hole plays this role. Then, we study the
stability of solutions with respect to homogeneous and isotropic perturbations.
Specifically, if we do not consider the self-gravitational corrections, the AdS
black hole with zero ADM mass, and open horizon is an attractor, while, if we
consider the self-gravitational corrections, the AdS black hole with zero ADM
mass and flat horizon, is a repellerComment: 9 pages, no figure
Holographic Dark Energy Scenario and Variable Modified Chaplygin Gas
In this letter, we have considered that the universe is filled with normal
matter and variable modified Chaplygin gas. Also we have considered the
interaction between normal matter and variable modified Chaplygin gas in FRW
universe. Then we have considered a correspondence between the holographic dark
energy density and interacting variable modified Chaplygin gas energy density.
Then we have reconstructed the potential of the scalar field which describes
the variable modified Chaplygin cosmology.Comment: 4 latex pages, no figures, RevTeX styl
Interacting Three Fluid System and Thermodynamics of the Universe Bounded by the Event Horizon
The work deals with the thermodynamics of the universe bounded by the event
horizon. The matter in the universe has three constituents namely dark energy,
dark matter and radiation in nature and interaction between then is assumed.
The variation of entropy of the surface of the horizon is obtained from unified
first law while matter entropy variation is calculated from the Gibbss' law.
Finally, validity of the generalized second law of thermodynamics is examined
and conclusions are written point wise.Comment: 7 page
Scale transformation, modified gravity, and Brans-Dicke theory
A model of Einstein-Hilbert action subject to the scale transformation is
studied. By introducing a dilaton field as a means of scale transformation a
new action is obtained whose Einstein field equations are consistent with
traceless matter with non-vanishing modified terms together with dynamical
cosmological and gravitational coupling terms. The obtained modified Einstein
equations are neither those in metric formalism nor the ones in Palatini formalism, whereas the modified source terms are {\it formally}
equivalent to those of gravity in Palatini
formalism. The correspondence between the present model, the modified gravity
theory, and Brans-Dicke theory with is explicitly shown,
provided the dilaton field is condensated to its vacuum state.Comment: 14 pages, accepted for publication in IJT
The Cardy-Verlinde formula and entropy of the charged rotating BTZ black hole
In this paper we show that the entropy of black hole horizon in charged
rotating BTZ space-time can be described by the Cardy-Verlinde formula, which
is supposed to be an entropy formula of conformal field theory in any
dimension.Comment: 7 page
Interacting Ricci Dark Energy and its Statefinder Description
In this paper we have considered an interacting Ricci dark energy in flat FRW
universe. We have reconstructed the Hubble's parameter under this interaction.
Also, we have investigated the statefinder diagnostics. It has been revealed
that the equation of state parameter behaves like quintessence in this
interaction and from the statefinder diagnostics it has been concluded that the
interacting Ricci dark energy interpolates between dust and CDM stages
of the universe.Comment: 9 pages, 3 figure
Interacting Modified Variable Chaplygin Gas in Non-flat Universe
A unified model of dark energy and matter is presented using the modified
variable Chaplygin gas for interacting dark energy in a non-flat universe. The
two entities interact with each other non-gravitationally which involves a
coupling constant. Due to dynamic interaction, the variation in this constant
arises that henceforth changes the equations of state of these quantities. We
have derived the effective equations of state corresponding to matter and dark
energy in this interacting model. Moreover, the case of phantom energy is
deduced by putting constraints on the parameters involved.Comment: 9 pages; Accepted for publication in European Physical Journal
Non-minimal coupling of the phantom field and cosmic acceleration
Motivated by the recent interest in phantom fields as candidates for the dark
energy component, we investigate the consequences of the phantom field when is
minimally coupled to gravity. In particular, the necessary (but insufficient)
conditions for the acceleration and superacceleration of the universe are
obtained when the non-minimal coupling term is taken into account. Furthermore,
the necessary condition for the cosmic acceleration is derived when the phantom
field is non-minimally coupled to gravity and baryonic matter is included.Comment: 9 pages, no figures; (v2) title slightly changed, one reference and
