Teaching in higher education is a high level of autonomy and consciousness of students. The first and essential step in learning activities of students is their timely adaptation to training conditions in high school, regarded as the introduction of them in the professional community. The success often depends on the further professional life development. The authors of the article shows one approach to solving the problem of motivation analysis indicators (defined by the method of "Motivational profile of the person") students for educational activities. Original data were only a value of indicators of motivational sphere for first-year students: good successful students (Group A1); bad successful students (A2 group). The training set includes indicators of motivational sphere of 100 students of the Institute of Cybernetics of TPU. According to the analysis of motivational indicators it will be decided about the success of adaptation of students to educational activity

    Some remarks on one-dimensional force-free Vlasov-Maxwell equilibria

The conditions for the existence of force-free non-relativistic translationally invariant one-dimensional (1D) Vlasov-Maxwell (VM) equilibria are investigated using general properties of the 1D VM equilibrium problem. As has been shown before, the 1D VM equilibrium equations are equivalent to the motion of a pseudo-particle in a conservative pseudo-potential, with the pseudo-potential being proportional to one of the diagonal components of the plasma pressure tensor. The basic equations are here derived in a different way to previous work. Based on this theoretical framework, a necessary condition on the pseudo-potential (plasma pressure) to allow for force-free 1D VM equilibria is formulated. It is shown that linear force-free 1D VM solutions, which so far are the only force-free 1D VM solutions known, correspond to the case where the pseudo-potential is an attractive central potential. A general class of distribution functions leading to central pseudo-potentials is discussed.Comment: Physics of Plasmas, accepte

Article is devoted to a complex research of economic category «controlling». The author gives the generalized characteristic of controlling as the methodology of management of changes containing a theoretical basis, focus, information streams, technology, structure and tools of decision-making. The hypothesis that application of different ways of controlling at management of activity of the enterprise gives the chance to it to develop the successful concept of adoption of administrative decisions directed to reduction of expenses and time of the organization, development, acceptance and implementation of administrative decisions is proved

Can the UNAIDS modes of transmission model be improved? A comparison of the original and revised model projections using data from a setting in west Africa.

OBJECTIVE: The UNAIDS modes of transmission model (MoT) is a user-friendly model, developed to predict the distribution of new HIV infections among different subgroups. The model has been used in 29 countries to guide interventions. However, there is the risk that the simplifications inherent in the MoT produce misleading findings. Using input data from Nigeria, we compare projections from the MoT with those from a revised model that incorporates additional heterogeneity. METHODS: We revised the MoT to explicitly incorporate brothel and street-based sex-work, transactional sex, and HIV-discordant couples. Both models were parameterized using behavioural and epidemiological data from Cross River State, Nigeria. Model projections were compared, and the robustness of the revised model projections to different model assumptions, was investigated. RESULTS: The original MoT predicts 21% of new infections occur in most-at-risk-populations (MARPs), compared with 45% (40-75%, 95% Crl) once additional heterogeneity and updated parameterization is incorporated. Discordant couples, a subgroup previously not explicitly modelled, are predicted to contribute a third of new HIV infections. In addition, the new findings suggest that women engaging in transactional sex may be an important but previously less recognized risk group, with 16% of infections occurring in this subgroup. CONCLUSION: The MoT is an accessible model that can inform intervention priorities. However, the current model may be potentially misleading, with our comparisons in Nigeria suggesting that the model lacks resolution, making it challenging for the user to correctly interpret the nature of the epidemic. Our findings highlight the need for a formal review of the MoT

A number of scientific and practical aspects of assessment of efficiency of activity of commercial bank is considered. On the basis of the conducted research authors gives offers on increase in bank income and decrease in risk on the basis of banking products with the built-in options. By results of the conducted research the conclusion on influence of change of a key interest rate on income of commercial banks at management of liquidity in the conditions of percentage risk. Methods of modeling of interest income of bank are presented
