The rapid development of agricultural modernization in Hubei province has an influence on cultivated land resources variations to a certain degree. This paper used grey relational analysis method, combined with Hubei province cultivated land area decreased data within the year covering 2000 to 2010 and agricultural modernization development index data, then analyzed the influence relationship between agricultural modernization development and cultivated land resources variations. Through calculating then obtained the relational degree of each index of agricultural modernization and cultivated land resources variations in Hubei province r01=0.6518, r02=0.6814, r03=0.6737, r04=0.6904, r05=0.7002, r06=0.6175,turned out to be r05\u3e r04\u3e r02\u3e r03\u3e r01\u3e r06by sequencing. Result shows that irrigation index-effective irrigation area has the highest relational degree on cultivated land resources variations, three chemical indexes are in the second place followed by successively are plastic films, fertilizers and pesticides according to relational degree, then the electrification indexelectricity consumption and the last mechanization index-total power of agricultural machinery. The sequence means water conservancy facilities construction and reasonableness and scientificalness of its utility should be taken into seriously, and the dependence degree of using fertilizers, pesticides and plastic films should be reduced in the meanwhile, electrification and mechanization development of modern agriculture should be kept improving the production efficiency and protecting cultivated land resources

Solid waste mixtures combustion in a circulating fluidized Bed: emission properties of NOx, Dioxin, and Heavy Metals

To efficiently and environment friendly combust the domestic garbage, sludge, and swill waste fuels, five different fuels are prepared by mixing the waste fuels together with coal, and grass biomass at different mixing ratios, and finally those fuels were combusted in a circulating fluidized bed (CFB) reactor. The emission performances of NOx, dioxin, and heavy metal during the combustion tests are studied. The results showed that a stable furnace temperature can be reached at approximately 850 °C when combusting all studied mixed fuels, benefiting the thermal processes of sludge and domestic garbage and thus realizing the purpose of waste-to-fuel. In addition, the dioxin emissions are much lower than the emission standards, and NOx emissions could be reduced significantly by adjusting the ratio of waste fuels. However, the emissions of mercury, lead, and the combinations of chromium, tin, antimony, cupper and manganese components all exceeded the pollution control standard for hazardous wastes incineration, a further technology is required for heavy metal reductions to achieve the emission standards

A Novel Admission Control Model in Cloud Computing

With the rapid development of Cloud computing technologies and wide adopt of Cloud services and applications, QoS provisioning in Clouds becomes an important research topic. In this paper, we propose an admission control mechanism for Cloud computing. In particular we consider the high volume of simultaneous requests for Cloud services and develop admission control for aggregated traffic flows to address this challenge. By employ network calculus, we determine effective bandwidth for aggregate flow, which is used for making admission control decision. In order to improve network resource allocation while achieving Cloud service QoS, we investigate the relationship between effective bandwidth and equivalent capacity. We have also conducted extensive experiments to evaluate performance of the proposed admission control mechanism

Cyclotron Dynamics of a Kondo Singlet in a Spin-Orbit-Coupled Alkaline-Earth Atomic Gas

We propose a scheme to investigate the interplay between Kondo-exchange interaction and quantum spin Hall effect with ultracold fermionic alkaline-earth atoms trapped in two-dimensional optical lattices using ultracold collision and laser-assisted tunneling. In the strong Kondo-coupling regime, though the loop trajectory of the mobile atom disappears, collective dynamics of an atom pair in two clock states can exhibit an unexpected spin-dependent cyclotron orbit in a plaquette, realizing the quantum spin Hall effect of the Kondo singlet. We demonstrate that the collective cyclotron dynamics of the spin-zero Kondo singlet is governed by an effective Harper-Hofstadter model in addition to second-order diagonal tunneling
