Time synchronization error analysis and evaluation of TH-2 satellite
The TH-2 satellite composed of two equal satellites, it adopts the technical system of satellite formation in different orbits and a bistatic radar transceiver mode. For this technical structure, time synchronization, phase synchronization and space synchronization must be established between two radars. The width of the mapping product, the image quality of the receiving radar, and the echo coherence are greatly affected by time synchronization error. In this paper, The mechanism of satellite time synchronization is described in detail, the synchronization error is analyzed and evaluated from the establishment and maintenance of time synchronization, and the effect of time synchronization error is analyzed systematically, The result of ground test and in-orbit test show that the analysis and evaluation conclusion is reliable
Pressure-stabilized divalent ozonide CaO3 and its impact on Earth's oxygen cycles.
High pressure can drastically alter chemical bonding and produce exotic compounds that defy conventional wisdom. Especially significant are compounds pertaining to oxygen cycles inside Earth, which hold key to understanding major geological events that impact the environment essential to life on Earth. Here we report the discovery of pressure-stabilized divalent ozonide CaO3 crystal that exhibits intriguing bonding and oxidation states with profound geological implications. Our computational study identifies a crystalline phase of CaO3 by reaction of CaO and O2 at high pressure and high temperature conditions; ensuing experiments synthesize this rare compound under compression in a diamond anvil cell with laser heating. High-pressure x-ray diffraction data show that CaO3 crystal forms at 35 GPa and persists down to 20 GPa on decompression. Analysis of charge states reveals a formal oxidation state of -2 for ozone anions in CaO3. These findings unravel the ozonide chemistry at high pressure and offer insights for elucidating prominent seismic anomalies and oxygen cycles in Earth's interior. We further predict multiple reactions producing CaO3 by geologically abundant mineral precursors at various depths in Earth's mantle
Pre‐symptomatic transmission of novel coronavirus in community settings
We used contact tracing to document how COVID‐19 was transmitted across 5 generations involving 10 cases, starting with an individual who became ill on January 27. We calculated the incubation period of the cases as the interval between infection and development of symptoms. The median incubation period was 6.0 days (interquartile range, 3.5‐9.5 days). The last two generations were infected in public places, 3 and 4 days prior to the onset of illness in their infectors. Both had certain underlying conditions and comorbidity. Further identification of how individuals transmit prior to being symptomatic will have important consequences.Peer Reviewedhttp://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/163478/2/irv12773.pdfhttp://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/163478/1/irv12773_am.pd
Air pollution–aerosol interactions produce more bioavailable iron for ocean ecosystems
It has long been hypothesized that acids formed from anthropogenic pollutants and natural emissions dissolve iron (Fe) in airborne particles, enhancing the supply of bioavailable Fe to the oceans. However, field observations have yet to provide indisputable evidence to confirm this hypothesis. Single-particle chemical analysis for hundreds of individual atmospheric particles collected over the East China Sea shows that Fe-rich particles from coal combustion and steel industries were coated with thick layers of sulfate after 1 to 2 days of atmospheric residence. The Fe in aged particles was present as a “hotspot” of (insoluble) iron oxides and throughout the acidic sulfate coating in the form of (soluble) Fe sulfate, which increases with degree of aging (thickness of coating). This provides the “smoking gun” for acid iron dissolution, because iron sulfate was not detected in the freshly emitted particles and there is no other source or mechanism of iron sulfate formation in the atmosphere
Qwen Technical Report
Large language models (LLMs) have revolutionized the field of artificial
intelligence, enabling natural language processing tasks that were previously
thought to be exclusive to humans. In this work, we introduce Qwen, the first
installment of our large language model series. Qwen is a comprehensive
language model series that encompasses distinct models with varying parameter
counts. It includes Qwen, the base pretrained language models, and Qwen-Chat,
the chat models finetuned with human alignment techniques. The base language
models consistently demonstrate superior performance across a multitude of
downstream tasks, and the chat models, particularly those trained using
Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), are highly competitive. The
chat models possess advanced tool-use and planning capabilities for creating
agent applications, showcasing impressive performance even when compared to
bigger models on complex tasks like utilizing a code interpreter. Furthermore,
we have developed coding-specialized models, Code-Qwen and Code-Qwen-Chat, as
well as mathematics-focused models, Math-Qwen-Chat, which are built upon base
language models. These models demonstrate significantly improved performance in
comparison with open-source models, and slightly fall behind the proprietary
models.Comment: 59 pages, 5 figure

Experimental demonstration of IDMA-OFDM for visible light communications
We experimentally demonstrate a multicarrier interleave division multiple access (IDMA) scheme for bidirectional visible light communications using orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), which has the advantages of good tolerance against multi-path, high spectral efficiency and excellent transmission performance. The generated IDMA signals are modulated on OFDM subcarriers and the different users are separated by the interleavers. When compared with orthogonal frequency domain multiple access, IDMA-OFDM offers increased transmission spans of 30 and 50 cm at a bit error rate (BER) of 10 -3 in the cases of two and four users, respectively
