    Domains via approximation operators

In this paper, we tailor-make new approximation operators inspired by rough set theory and specially suited for domain theory. Our approximation operators offer a fresh perspective to existing concepts and results in domain theory, but also reveal ways to establishing novel domain-theoretic results. For instance, (1) the well-known interpolation property of the way-below relation on a continuous poset is equivalent to the idempotence of a certain set-operator; (2) the continuity of a poset can be characterized by the coincidence of the Scott closure operator and the upper approximation operator induced by the way below relation; (3) meet-continuity can be established from a certain property of the topological closure operator. Additionally, we show how, to each approximating relation, an associated order-compatible topology can be defined in such a way that for the case of a continuous poset the topology associated to the way-below relation is exactly the Scott topology. A preliminary investigation is carried out on this new topology.Comment: 17 pages; 1figure, Domains XII Worksho

DETERMINANTS OF TURNOVER INTENTIONS AMONG CHINESE OFF FARM MIGRANTS

This study examines the determinants of turnover intentions of off farm migrant workers, using data collected from China's Jiangsu Province. Turnover intention is posited to be a function of demographic/human capital characteristics, job characteristics and job satisfaction. We find that higher levels of education have a positive effect on reported turnover intentions, while higher income and job satisfaction have a negative effect on turnover intentions. As turnover intentions represent a good proxy for actual turnover, the results can be viewed as providing reliable predictors of job mobility among off farm migrant workers at a time when there is a growing shortage of such workers in China's coastal provinces.

*Purpose:* To investigate the MR imaging of _Bifidobacterium longum_ and _Clostridium novyi-NT_ labeling with superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) nanoparticles.

*Materials and methods:* Tubes containing _B. longum_-SPIO, Free-SPIO, _B. longum_ and PYG Medium were incubated under anaerobic condition in _in vitro_ experiment. Transmission electron microscope and Prussian blue staining were used to demonstrate intra-bacteria nanoparticles. R~2~^*^ mapping and R~2~ mapping were reconstructed after MR scanning. _B. longum_-SPIO and _C. novyi_-NT-SPIO were injected respectively _in vivo_ to show whether it might be traced by MR imaging.

*Results:* Magnetosomes in bacteria were observed by electron microscopic and stained by Prussian blue staining. At the same concentration of SPIOs, the R~2~^*^ value of _B. longum_-SPIO was significantly higher than that of Free-SPIO (P<0.001), however, the R~2~ value was lower comparing with Free-SPIO (P<0.001). After injection with _B. longum_-SPIO, they could present in tumor and shorten T~2~^*^.

*Conclusion:* _B. longum_ and _C. novyi_-NT could be labeled by SPIO and then traced by MRI

    Weakly meet sZs_{Z}-continuity and δZ\delta_{Z}-continuity

Based on the concept of weakly meet sZs_{Z}-continuouity put forward by Xu and Luo in \cite{qzm}, we further prove that if the subset system ZZ satisfies certain conditions, a poset is sZs_{Z}-continuous if and only if it is weakly meet sZs_{Z}-continuous and sZs_{Z}-quasicontinuous, which improves a related result given by Ruan and Xu in \cite{sz}. Meanwhile, we provide a characterization for the poset to be weakly meet sZs_{Z}-continuous, that is, a poset with a lower hereditary ZZ-Scott topology is weakly meet sZs_{Z}-continuous if and only if it is locally weakly meet sZs_{Z}-continuous. In addition, we introduce a monad on the new category POSETδ\mathbf{POSET_{\delta}} and characterize its EilenbergEilenberg-MooreMoore algebras concretely.Comment: 11 page
