    This study aims to understand the level of income of the palm sugar home industry in Kaayuran Atas Village, South Langowan District. This study was conducted in February 2021. The data collected in this study is a primary data, which is the data obtained through direct interviews with respondents in the field using a list of questions (questionnaires). And secondary data obtained from agencies related to research problems (related agencies), including physical data of Kaayuran Atas Village and data related to research. The results showed that the income of the palm sugar home industry in Kaayuran Atas Village, South Langowan District, was obtained from the reduction between the average income of the palm sugar home industry of Rp. 5,839,166/month with a production cost of Rp. 5,885,469 then the cost is lacking than Rp. 46,303/month indicates that the palm sugar home industry in Kaayuran Atas Village suffers a loss, but because it uses labor from the family member so that the average labor cost is Rp. 3,600,000 being excluded then the total production cost becomes Rp. 2,209,000 so that the income of the palm sugar household industry in Kaayuran Atas Village is Rp. 3,319,000 making the palm sugar home industry doesn’t suffer from a loss because it  exclude the labor costs and they (the palm sugar home industry managers) still have other jobs such as gardening

    The purpose of this study was to compare farmers' exchange rate between rice and secondary crops in North Sulawesi Province. The research lasted for 3 months from September to November 2023, conducted at the BPS office of North Sulawesi Province. The data used in this research data is secondary data, namely data on the exchange rate of rice and food crop farmers obtained from other parties in the form of finished data in the form of publications in the form of monthly farmer exchange rate developments at the North Sulawesi Province level. The data used in this study is data in the form (time series) of the last 2 years from 2021 to 2022. The data was obtained from various sources, namely the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and website sources related to the research. The variables measured in this study are the period in years of data on food crops, namely rice and secondary crops. Data analysis method of calculation formula of It and Ib, calculation of NTP, calculation of NTUP, T test analysis, and Trend analysis. The results showed that the farmer exchange rate on secondary crops was higher than the farmer exchange rate on rice, which meant that the purchasing power of farmers was higher

    This study aims to determine the life strategy of wetland rice farmers in Tumani Selatan Village, Sub-District of Maesaan, South Minahsa Regency. This research was conducted for three months from September to November 2018. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Primary data collection through direct interviews with 15 respondents of paddy rice farmers based on a questionnaire that had been prepared previously. Secondary data was collected from the office of Desa Tumani Selatan, from the internet through google searching regarding the profile of South Minahasa Regency, and from previous research documents that were relevant to this study. Data analysis in this study is quantitative and qualitative analysis which is presented in the form of a table, then described descriptively. The results of the research that have been done show that the life strategy of the upper class of farmers applies two strategies, namely the accumulation strategy and consolidation strategy. Middle class farmers apply accumulation strategies. While the lower class farmers implement a survival strategy.*eprm

    This study aims to calculate corn farming income in Tumani Selatan Village, Maesaan Sub-district, South Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted from June to July 2023. Sampling using sample survey method with 16 farmers as respondents. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data and use income analysis calculations. Data analysis used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis in determining production, revenue and income. The results showed that the average revenue of corn farmers per hectare in South Tumani Village, Maesaan Subdistrict, South Minahasa Regency in one harvest was IDR16.588.090. The average income of corn farmers per hectare amounted to IDR8.537.786

    This study aims to determine the characteristics of smallholder farmers in Tolok Village, Tompaso District. The study was conducted in August to September 2019. The selection of samples in this study was carried out purposevley with 33 respondent farmers, namely those who have small size of land of less than 0.5 hectares. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data collected through interviews and observations. Secondary data were obtained from the Tolok Village office, library and the Internet. Data analysis uses description analysis, which describes the characteristics of smallholder farmers and is presented in tabular form. The results showed that farmers who have small size of land with low income and are unable to rely solely on the agricultural sector as a source of income. The non-agricultural sector is also used as a source of additional income to meet their needs.*eprm

    This study aims to determine the exchange rate of wetland rice farmers in New Tompaso District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for three months from September to November 2018. The data used were primary and secondary data. Primary data collection through direct interviews with 39 respondents of wetland rice farmers who were randomly determined. Interviews using a questionnaire prepared previously. Secondary data was collected from the Tompaso Baru District office in the form of a profile of research location, and from the internet through google searching in the form of journal articles that relevant to this research. Furthermore, the data is calculated using the formula for the exchange rate of lowland rice farmers. The results of the research that have been conducted show that the exchange rate of lowland rice farmers with an area of equal and less than 1 ha is 68.32, which means that rice farmers do not have other jobs, the farmers are unable to meet their family's daily needs. While the exchange rate of paddy rice farmers with a land area of more than 1 ha is 101.44, meaning that if the paddy farmers do not have other jobs, then the farmer is still able to meet the daily needs of his family. Thus to meet the daily needs of his family, for lowland rice farmers who only depend on the source of income from rice farming business, they must have a minimum is greater than 1 hectare of paddy field area.*eprm

    This study aims to analyze the factors that influence poverty levels in North Sulawesi. This research was conducted for three months from February to April 2018. The data used were secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, North Sulawesi Province and also from local bookstores, the internet through Google Scholar, to access scientific journal articles and thesis from other universities related to factors that influence poverty levels. Data collected in this study using data from January 2005 to December 2016 and presented in table form are then described and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that the unemployment variable is a factor that significantly influences the level of poverty in North Sulawesi Province. While the level of education, the growth of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and inflation did not significantly influence the level of poverty.*ghmk+eprm

    The purpose of this study was to compare whether peanut farming income was greater than corn farming in Kanonang Dua Village, Kawangkoan Barat District. This research was conducted for 3months starting from February to April 2019. Determination of farmer samples using a simple random sampling method. Data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data wasobtained from direct interviews with 15 peanut farmers and 15 corn farmers so that the total respondents were 30 farmers. Secondary data was obtained from the Head of Village office of Kanonang Dua Village,Kawangkoan Barat Sub-district and Statistice office of Minahasa Regency and through the internet, through google searching to obtain scientific journals articles and Bachelor thesis from others university that related to the topic of this research. The results showed that the income received from peanut farming was greater than the income received by corn farming. Peanut farmer Rp.9,309,569 / Ha with a ratio of 2.33 while corn farmers Rp.3,427,500 / Ha with a ratio of 1.77.-*eprm

    South Tumani village is a village located in The District Maesaan South Minahasa Regency, the majority of the people work as farmers. South Tumani village has a limited production forest area of 500 hectares (Ha). Based on observations made by researchers showed that people's behavior in the utilization of forest resources that are not controlled can trigger forest destruction. The purpose of this research is to find out the perception of farmers' perception of forests in The Village of South Tumani Maesaan District. For three months from August to October 2020, the data types used were primary data and secondary data obtained from interviews using questionnaires. Sampling method is done purposive sampling (determined intentionally).In accordance with the results of research on farmers' perception of forests in South Tumani Village. (1) Farmers in South Tumani Village know about the existence of forests in the eastern part of Tumani village and the types of crops in the forest. (2) Farmers know that forest resources are useful and have utilized forest resources. (3) Farmers know about the impact of forest damage and how to protect forests. (4) People are hesitant about the rules of forest protection.

    This study aims to analyze the profits from the Sindo Sangria peanut business in Kanonang Tiga Village, Kawangkoan District, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted in August to October 2022. The method used in this research is the survey method with the types of data consisting of primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data taken directly from the location through interviews with Sindo Roasted Bean business owners using a prepared questionnaire and direct observation at the research site. Secondary data is obtained from literature and literature studies through documents, publications, or research results from various institutions or institutions that support and relate to the required research topic. Based on the results of research conducted on the "Sindo" roasted peanut business regarding the analysis of the profits obtained by the business owner, the conclusion obtained by the researcher is that the "Sindo" roasted peanut business earns a profit of IDR20,619,110 in 6 days of production process activities. R/C Ratio analysis is 2.31 which means that this business is profitable and can be maintained
