Berichte ueber die Luftqualitaet in Nordrhein-Westfalen: Herne (Wanner Norden) 01.03.1993 bis 31.03.1993

Die Landesanstalt fuer Immissionsschutz NRW (LIS) fuehrt seit 1984 das Messprogramm MILIS (Mobile Immissionsmessungen der LIS) durch. Mit den im Rahmen dieses Programms durchgefuehrten Messungen (im Regelfall an Orten, die nicht einer staendigen Luftqualitaetsueberwachung unterliegen) wird dem Beduerfnis der Bevoelkerung nach Informationen ueber die lokale Immissionssituation entsprochen. Ein mobiler Messcontainer registriert einen Monat lang die Konzentrationen der Stoffe Schwefeldixid (SO_2), Stickstoffmonoxid (NO), Stickstoffdioxid (NO_2), Kohlenmonoxid (CO), Ozon (O_3) und des Schwebstaubs (SSTR) in der Luft. Zusaetzlich werden parallel zur Luftanalyse die meteorologischen Parameter Windrichtung und Windgeschwindigkeit erfasst. Auf der Basis der Immissions-Konzentrationen am Messstandort im Messzeitraum sowie der Messwerte ortsfester Messstationen aus den letzten zwoelf Monaten kann eine Abschaetzung der Jahresmittelwerte der Immissionskonzentrationen am Messort vorgenommen werden. Diese Schaetzwerte koennen mit den Immissionsgrenzwerten der TA Luft verglichen werden. Eine Zusammenstellung der Immissionsgrenzwerte der TA Luft, der EG-Grenzwerte, der UMK- und NRW-Richtwerte fuer Ozon sowie der MIK-Werte ist enthalten. (orig./KW)Since 1984 the Landesanstalt fuer Immissionsschutz (LIS, Agency for Clean Air Preservation) of North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW) has been conducting the MILIS (Mobile Air Monitoring) programme. The measurements performed under this programme (usually at locations lacking continuous air monitoring) meet the public demand for information on local air quality. A mobile measuring container records over a period of one month atmospheric concentrations of sulphur dioxide (SO_2), nitrogen monoxide (NO) nitrogen dioxide (NO_2), carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O_3), and airborne particles. This chemical analysis is flanked by measurements of the meteorological parameters wind direction and speed. Annual average air pollutant concentrations at the measuring site are assessed on the basis of the values measured on site in the course of the monitoring period and at stationary monitoring points in the course of the previous twelve months. These estimates can then be compared with the limit values of the Clean Air Technical Code. The present paper also contains a synopsis of limit values laid down in the Clean Air Technical Code, EC regulations, and VDI Guidelines for all the above pollutants and of the UMK (conference of environmental ministers) and NRW ozone limit values.
