SIMPLE: Stable Increased-throughput Multi-hop Protocol for Link Efficiency in Wireless Body Area Networks
In this work, we propose a reliable, power efficient and high throughput
routing protocol for Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs). We use multi-hop
topology to achieve minimum energy consumption and longer network lifetime. We
propose a cost function to select parent node or forwarder. Proposed cost
function selects a parent node which has high residual energy and minimum
distance to sink. Residual energy parameter balances the energy consumption
among the sensor nodes while distance parameter ensures successful packet
delivery to sink. Simulation results show that our proposed protocol maximize
the network stability period and nodes stay alive for longer period. Longer
stability period contributes high packet delivery to sink which is major
interest for continuous patient monitoring.Comment: IEEE 8th International Conference on Broadband and Wireless

Two flavors of dynamical quarks on anisotropic lattices
We report on our study of two-flavor full QCD on anisotropic lattices using
-improved Wilson quarks coupled with an RG-improved glue. The bare gauge
and quark anisotropies corresponding to the renormalized anisotropy
are determined as functions of and , which
covers the region of spatial lattice spacings --0.16 fm and
--0.9. The calibrations of the bare anisotropies are
performed with the Wilson loop and the meson dispersion relation at 4 lattice
cutoffs and 5--6 quark masses. Using the calibration results we calculate the
meson mass spectrum and the Sommer scale . We confirm that the values of
calculated for the calibration using pseudo scalar and vector meson
energy momentum dispersion relation coincide in the continuum limit within
errors. This work serves to lay ground toward studies of heavy quark systems
and thermodynamics of QCD including the extraction of the equation of state in
the continuum limit using Wilson-type quark actions.Comment: 16 pages, 23 figures, Version accepted for publication in Physical

Perturbative renormalization factors in domain-wall QCD with improved gauge actions
We evaluate renormalization factors of the domain-wall fermion system with
various improved gauge actions at one loop level. The renormalization factors
are calculated for quark wave function, quark mass, bilinear quark operators,
three- and four-quark operators in modified minimal subtraction (MS-bar) scheme
with the dimensional reduction(DRED) as well as the naive dimensional
regularization(NDR). We also present detailed results in the mean field
improved perturbation theory.Comment: 44 page
The Lattice Parameter in Domain Wall QCD
We evaluate the ratio of the scale parameter in domain wall QCD to
the one in the continuum theory at one loop level incorporating the effect of
massless quarks. We show that the Pauli-Villars regulator is required to
subtract the unphysical massive fermion modes which emerge in the fermion loop
contributions to the gluon self energy. Detailed results are presented as a
function of the domain wall height .Comment: 16 pages, 1 figure as eps-file, some references adde
Effect of supervisor-subordinate Guanxi on employees work behavior: An empirical dynamic framework
Recently, the Chinese concept of guanxi (networks or business relationships) has drawn considerable attention and inspired researchers to explore its prevalence in diverse cultures. Accordingly, we examined the direct link between supervisor-subordinate guanxi and employee work behaviors (innovative work behavior and work engagement) by investigating the moderating effect of trust in the supervisor and the mediating effect of psychological empowerment. We collected data randomly from 510 employees (383 subordinates and 127 supervisors) working in China's manufacturing industry. The PROCESS macros operationalize the study constructs to test the presence of moderated mediation. All the hypothesized relationships are supported except the mediating role of psychological empowerment in the supervisor-subordinate guanxi and innovative work behavior relationships. The findings demonstrated that trust in supervisors strengthens the supervisor-subordinate guanxi's direct effect on psychological empowerment and its indirect impact on employees’ work behaviors. To promote positive employees and work behaviors, organizations can develop supervisor-subordinate guanxi that supports organizational goals
Flavor Singlet Meson Mass in the Continuum Limit in Two-Flavor Lattice QCD
We present results for the mass of the eta-prime meson in the continuum limit
for two-flavor lattice QCD, calculated on the CP-PACS computer, using a
renormalization-group improved gauge action, and Sheikholeslami and Wohlert's
fermion action with tadpole-improved csw. Correlation functions are measured at
three values of the coupling constant beta corresponding to the lattice spacing
a approx. 0.22, 0.16, 0.11 fm and for four values of the quark mass parameter
kappa corresponding to mpi over mrho approx. 0.8, 0.75, 0.7 and 0.6. For each
beta, kappa pair, 400-800 gauge configurations are used. The two-loop diagrams
are evaluated using a noisy source method. We calculate eta-prime propagators
using local sources, and find that excited state contributions are much reduced
by smearing. A full analysis for the smeared propagators gives
metaprime=0.960(87)+0.036-0.248 GeV, in the continuum limit, where the second
error represents the systematic uncertainty coming from varying the functional
form for chiral and continuum extrapolations.Comment: 9 pages, 19 figures, 4 table
Non-perturbative renormalization in domain-wall QCD by Schr\"odinger functional scheme
We formulate and numerically test the Schr\"odinger functional scheme for
domain-wall QCD. We then apply it to a non-perturbative calculation of the
renormalization factors for vector and axial-vector currents in quenched
domain-wall QCD with plaquette and renormalization group improved gauge actions
at GeV.Comment: Lattice2001(improvement), LaTex(espcrc2.sty), 3 pages, 5 eps figure
