    Search for color singlet technicolor particles in p(p)over-bar collisions at root s=1.8 TeV

    We search for color singlet technirho and technipion production in p (p) over bar collisions at root s = 1.8 TeV recorded with the Collider Detector at Fennilab. These exotic technimesons are present in a model of walking technicolor. The signatures studied an lepton plus two jets plus E-T and multijet final states. No excess of events is seen in either final state. We set an upper limit on the technirho production cross section and exclude a region in the technipion mass versus technirho mass plane

    We have measured the ratio of prompt production rates of the charmonium states chi (c1) and chi (c2) in 110 pb(-1) of p (p) over bar collisions at roots = 1.8 TeV. The photon from their decay into J/Psi gamma is reconstructed through conversion into ece pairs. The energy resolution this technique provides makes the resolution of the two states possible. We find the ratio of production cross sections sigma chi (c1)/sigma chi (c1) = 0.96 +/- 0.27(stat) +/- 0.11(syst) for events with p(T)(J/Psi) > 4.0 GeV/c, /eta (J/Psi)/ 1.0 GeV/c

    We report on a search for the supersymmetric partner of the top quark (top squark) produced in tt\u304 events using 110 pb-1 of pp\u304 collisions at 1as = 1.8 TeV recorded with the Collider Detector at Fermilab. In the case of a light top squark, the decay of the top quark into a top squark plus the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP) could have a significant branching ratio. The observed events are consistent with standard model tt\u304 production and decay. Hence, we set limits on the branching ratio of the top quark decaying into a top squark plus LSP, excluding branching ratios above 45% for a LSP mass up to 40 GeV/c2
