There have been studies targeting the effects of psychological test interpretation styles; however few of these studies deal with innovative approaches. This research study aims at comparing three styles of interpretation and differentiating them according to how the intervention was designed. There is the nomothetic interpretation, which means accentuating interactive interpretation of a results profile. There is also the constructivist interpretation, which means helping participants to elaborate their own categories of interpretation. The third style is called integrated interpretation and combines the two previous styles. The results (n = 86) show that the constructivist interpretation isnât evaluated as positively as the other two; in addition the men in our sample associated it with a weak career-decision making self-efficacy. The integrated interpretation style presents the strongest effects when the qualitative productions of the subjects are analyzed. The implications for research and practice are dealt with in the discussion

First description of the occurrence of the leafhopper Phlogotettix cyclops in a Bordeaux vineyard
Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the occurrence of new leafhopper species, which could be potential vectors of plant pathogens, in the vineyards of the Bordeaux region.
Methods and results: Grapevine woody canes were collected in a vineyard without insecticide treatments during the winter of 2008. The unidentified leafhoppers that hatched from the dormant canes were collected and individually reared to adults on grapevine cuttings in a cage. Species identification was performed with males. The survey led to the detection of a new leafhopper species in Bordeaux vineyards, Phlogotettix cyclops.
Conclusions: P. cyclops is an invasive species whose larvae look like the ones of Scaphoideus titanus. The presence of this species in a Bordeaux vineyard suggests that it is spreading northward across the southwest of France. Furthermore, this leafhopper could become a vine pest in the future.
Significance and impact of the study: This study provided useful information for viticultural researchers and professionals, particularly in France, but also elsewhere in Europe

Heterologous expression and genetic diversity of stAMP the Antigenic Membrane Protein of stolbur phytoplasma

The stolbur phytoplasma antigenic membrane protein gene stamp is submitted to diversifying positive selection
Surface proteins play an important role in phytoplasma life cycle. The antigenic membrane protein (AMP) of âCandidatus Phytoplasma asterisâ has been shown to interact with the insect microfilaments. Due to the synteny of the groL-amp-nadE genetic locus between phytoplasma genomes, the gene stamp that encodes the antigenic membrane protein of stolbur phytoplasma has been cloned and characterized. It encodes a 157 amino acid-long protein with a predicted signal peptide and a C-terminal hydrophobic alpha-helix. STAMP was 26â40% identical to AMP of âCandidatus Phytoplasma asterisâ strains and 40% identical to AMP of âCa. P. japonicum'. The expression of STAMP in Escherichia. coli produced a 16 kDa peptide recognized by an anti-stolbur monoclonal antibody. Stamp was more variable than the house-keeping gene secY and the ratio between non-synonymous over synonymous mutations (dN/dS ) was 2.78 for stamp as compared to 0.64 for secY. This indicates that stamp is submitted to a positive diversifying selection pressure
