Gamificacion con estrategia de marketing interno
Purpose: Theoretical analysis of the phenomenon of gamification and its possible application as a tool for internal marketing, in order to increase job satisfaction and commitment through engagement.
Design/methodology/approach: Firstly, review of the literature on gamification and its background within game social reality. Secondly, presentation of several business cases where gamification has been applied.
Findings: Focusing the subject of gamification within the field of internal marketing. In addition, a theoretical model of gamification as a tool to improve some consequences on employees’ behavior, such as job satisfaction and commitment through engagement, is proposed,. Various specific hypotheses for future research are proposed based on this model..
Practical implications: Because of the situation of research on internal marketing and gamification, practical implications cannot be deduced in the short term, although they may arise as long as there is empirical evidence of its usefulness.
Social implications: Currently there is no empirical evidence to infer social implications.
Originality/value: Gamification is a very recent phenomenon that has been scarcely studied
Algunas plantas interesantes de la provincia de Córdoba
Se incluyen en esta nota 38 táxones recolectados en la provincia de Córdoba que representan una aportación al conocimiento floristico de la misma y de Andalucía Occidental. In this paper 38 taxa collected in the province of Córdoba are included. Most of them are new records for the province
Review of some statistical methods for constructing composite indicators
The methodology for the construction process of composite indicators is reviewed in a step-by-step approach ranging from the ex-ante definition of the latent variable that is intended to be measure, through the construction process of the composite indicators. We focus particularly on four aggregations methods in order analayze weighting and aggregation approach, Distance P_2, Principal Component Analysis, Data Envelopment Analysis and Mazziotta-Pareto Index. An empirical comparison among them is provided and the composite indices divergences are shown

SemTab 2019: Resources to Benchmark Tabular Data to Knowledge Graph Matching Systems
Tabular data to Knowledge Graph matching is the process of assigning semantic tags from knowledge graphs (e.g., Wikidata or DBpedia) to the elements of a table. This task is a challenging problem for various reasons, including the lack of metadata (e.g., table and column names), the noisiness, heterogeneity, incompleteness and ambiguity in the data. The results of this task provide significant insights about potentially highly valuable tabular data, as recent works have shown, enabling a new family of data analytics and data science applications. Despite significant amount of work on various flavors of this problem, there is a lack of a common framework to conduct a systematic evaluation of state-of-the-art systems. The creation of the Semantic Web Challenge on Tabular Data to Knowledge Graph Matching (SemTab) aims at filling this gap. In this paper, we report about the datasets, infrastructure and lessons learned from the first edition of the SemTab challenge
Analysis of buñuelos growth rate using 2K factorial design
Buñuelos are a traditional food not only in Colombia but in several parts of the world. They are prepared mainly with cassava starch, cornstarch, cheese, water or milk. The purpose of this work is to determine which factors (trademark, time, temperature, serving size) or interactions between them are important to achieve a major volume of the buñuelos. Thus, a 2k design is proposed to analyze the factors on the growth rate of buñuelos. The growth rate is calculated taking into account the buñuelos diameter before fried and after fried. The results indicate that the serving size has the principal effect on the response variable but followed by the trademark and some interactions between time and temperature
Meloe (Mesomeloe) coelatus Reiche, 1857 (Coleoptera: Meloidae): first record for the fauna of Qatar and COI mtDNA data
We report the discovery of the blister beetle, Meloe coelatus Reiche, 1957, in Qatar. According to the Catalogue of Palaearctic Coleoptera there is no record for the genus Meloe in Qatar, although the genus is well represented in other areas of the Arabian Peninsula. M. coelatus is a rare species, that is present along a wide area of Northern Africa and Western Asia. Our findings bridge the current geographic gap in the known distribution of the species from Saudi Arabia to Iran. We believe the Coleoptera fauna of Qatar might be underestimated. A thorough field survey is recommended in order to document the presence of other species of this family, and also to complete the catalogue of Coleoptera for the State of Qatar. We also thank the constructive comments of the reviewers. Project CGL2010-15786 of the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovacio´n of Spain (awarded to Dr M. Garcı´a-París) made possible the collaborative research between MGP, JLR and YJR.Peer reviewe
