Analyse und Optimierung fluidisch und mechanisch gekoppelter grossvolumiger meerestechnischer Mehrkoerpersysteme bei instationaerer Wellenbelastung Schlussbericht
For hydrodynamic analyses of offshore-multibody systems an exact sea wave-structure interaction theory taking into account the water compressibility has been developed, which is based on the calculation of diffraction matrices of the single bodies. Hydrodynamic analyses of the single bodies were carried out using the Trofftz method for fitting boundary conditions. Biorthogonal functional series were applied for computation of earthquake induced hydrodynamic pressures at rotationally symmetrical offshore buildings of the monotower type and of submarine oil reservoirs. Experimental investigations for evaluation of the calculation methods have been started in a slack water basin. Hydrodynamische Belastung erdbebenerregter Offshore-Bauwerke Theoretische Analyse und experimentelle Untersuchungen. Schlussbericht
Efficient and reliable methods have been developed for the calculation of instationary hydrodynamic loadings of earthquake-excited offshore buildings. The hybrid element method has been chosen for analysis of the interaction between structure and fluid in the frequency spectrum. Formulation of this method with extension to compressible water resulted in the program HARMAN. The program FHARMAN, in addition to HARMAN, accounts for flexible building structures. By this program not only the hydrodynamic forces but also the building responses can be calculated. Time dependency of forces, moments and pressures can be modelled by the program INSTAN. Additional experimental investigations at a test stand and with structure models were carried out to verify the theoretical methods.
