Objective: The present study was aimed to assess the prevalence of complications and to assess the targets achieved during the management of diabetes mellitus type 2.Methods: The study was prospective and conducted out in a diabetes center, Chennai, ethical approval was obtained from the Institutional Ethics Committee, case records of the 300 patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and its complications were monitored during March 2017–April 2018. Major result actions are body weight, height, body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, fasting blood sugar (FBS), post-prandial blood sugar (PPBS) levels, glycosylated hemoglobin, serum lipids, and presence of complications of diabetes. Comparison of the average of various biochemical parameters was made in patients with and no diabetic complications. Results: The average age of 300 patients was found to be 55.006±13.04. The average BMI was 27.10±12.81 kg/m2. The average duration of diabetes was 10.48±7.53. The average of systolic (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure was 137±20.88 and 79.95±11.81. The mean glycated hemoglobin, FBS, PPBS, low-density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein, and triglyceride, and total cholesterol were found to be 8.5±3.99, 148.85±55.64 mg/dl, 200.98±72.63 mg/dl, 88.06±19.46 mg/dl, 36.20±8.27 mg/dl, 141.22±60.15 mg/dl, and 144.45±29.03 mg/dl, respectively. Among the microvascular complications; neuropathy, nephropathy, and retinopathy were documented in 8.33%, 23.66%, and 17.33% of patients, respectively. The prevalence of peripheral artery disease was 20.66%.Conclusion: The prevalence of diabetic complications is significantly increased with patients age, duration, SBP, low-density lipoprotein, total cholesterol, and post-prandial blood sugar levels. Knowledge concerning the supervision of target blood pressure and lipidparameters is need further than the glycemic manage among diabetes patients type two

A Network Structure for Diagnosis of Four Types of Faults in Reed-Muller Canonical Circuits

In this paper, a new network structure and its associated universal test set, independent of the circuit function, and dependent only on the number of function variables, with good fault diagnosing capabilities have been proposed for single stuck-at, double stuck-at, AND-bridging and OR-bridging faults in Exclusive-OR Sum of Products (ESOP) Reed-Muller Canonical (RMC) circuits

Crystal growth and properties of the non-centrosymmetric superconductor, Ru7B3

We describe the crystal growth of high quality single crystals of the non-centrosymmetric superconductor, Ru7B3 by the floating zone technique, using an optical furnace equipped with xenon arc lamps. The crystals obtained are large and suitable for detailed measurements, and have been examined using x-ray Laue patterns. The superconducting properties of the crystals obtained have been investigated by magnetisation and resistivity measurements. Crystals have also been grown starting with enriched 11B isotope, making them suitable for neutron scattering experiments.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figures. Background: Assisted reproductive techniques (ART) has been a boon to the unfortunate. However, the outcomes aren’t the same to all. The study has observed the outcomes in IVF conceived patients. The pregnant women were followed-up throughout their antenatal and post-natal (7 days) period and an appropriate meta-analysis was made. Methods: This is an Observational Prospective study. It was conducted at an IVF center of tertiary hospital. With valid written informed consents 96 patients were recruited and observed for18 months. Data collected by Universal sampling method, analyzed and interpreted. Results: A total 65.6% belonged above 30 years, 67.7% were primigravida and 7.3% had history of previous ectopic pregnancy. In 23.75% multifetal pregnancy was significant and 20.63% had OS tightening done. Most common reason for opting IVF was multiple failed IUI (71.6%). More than 40% were delivered by caesarean section. 91.1% of babies cried immediately after birth and 50.4% babies required NICU admission.13.4% babies had neonatal death and 3.1% were IUFD. 58.30% pregnancies were singleton. Mean birth weight was 1.87 Kg and 72.6% children were born low birth weight. Statistical significance (p<0.001) was found in between no. of foetuses delivered and preterm delivery. 56.3% birth were preterm birth. PIH and GDM complication is most common in multiple gestations observed in 10.7% of pregnancies. Conclusions: Assisted Reproductive technologies has helped the infertile couples. Outcomes could be unfruitful in few, while others may have a complicated antenatal period. Preterm deliveries are more common in multiple gestation thus complementing the lower birth weights. Comorbidities significantly affected obstetric outcome
