This work is about investigation of condition of intraocular pressure (IOP) after intravitreous injection of medicine avastine into eyeball with normal hydrodynamic. Injections were made for treatment of neovascular chorioretinal membrane plainly. The medicine was injected intravitreously in volume 0,05 ml with a special needle 30 gauge. IOP was measured by special surgical ophthalmotonometer of own construction. Measuring of IOP were made before injection, and also 30 seconds, 3 and 5 minutes after injection. Just after injection we discovered that IOP rose to 65 mm of hydrargerum. 5 minutes after IOP dropped down to 27 mm. Patients didn't have any pains or other unpleasant feelings in the eyeball although the IOP was very high at the moment.

Parton interactions in the Bjorken limit of QCD

We consider the Bjorken limit in the framework of the effective action approach and discuss its similarities to the Regge limit. The proposed effective action allows for a rather simple calculation of the known evolution kernels. We represent the result in terms of two-parton interaction operators involving gluon and quark operators depending on light-ray position and helicity and analyze their symmetry properties.Comment: 32 pages LaTex, 4 eps-figures, comments added, minor correction

Gauge invariant sub-structures of tree-level double-emission exact QCD spin amplitudes

In this note we discuss possible separations of exact, massive, tree-level spin amplitudes into gauge invariant parts. We concentrate our attention on processes involving two quarks entering a color- neutral current and, thanks to the QCD interactions, two extra external gluons. We will search for forms compatible with parton shower languages, without applying approximations or restrictions on phase space regions. Special emphasis will be put on the isolation of parts necessary for the construction of evolution kernels for individual splittings and to some degree for the running coupling constant as well. Our aim is to better understand the environment necessary to optimally match hard matrix elements with partons shower algorithms. To avoid complications and ambiguities related to regularization schemes, we ignore, at this point, virtual corrections. Our representation is quite universal: any color-neutral current can be used, in particular our approach is not restricted to vector currents only.Comment: 27 pages, formula in section 5 correcte

Excitations in doped quantum dot induced by randomly fluctuating magnetic field: influence of impurity

    No full text
We explore the excitation profile of a repulsive impurity doped quantum dot under randomly fluctuating magnetic field. We have considered Gaussian impurity centers. The investigation reveals the roles subtly played by the dopant coordinate, dopant strength, and the region of influence of the dopant to modulate the excitation pattern. The rate of transition to the excited states has been invoked to analyze the roles played by the above impurity parameters in influencing the excitation process. Quantum phase space plots are often exploited to support the findings. Copyright EDP Sciences, SIF, Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2011
