    O(Ξ±sv2)O(\alpha_s v^2) correction to e+eβˆ’β†’J/ψ+Ξ·ce^+e^-\to J/\psi+\eta_c at BB factories

We investigate the O(Ξ±sv2){\mathcal O}(\alpha_s v^2) correction to the e+eβˆ’β†’J/ψ+Ξ·ce^+e^-\to J/\psi+\eta_c process in the nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) factorization approach. Within some reasonable choices of the relative order-v2v^2 NRQCD matrix elements, we find that including this new ingredient of correction only mildly enhances the existing NRQCD predictions. We have also deduced the asymptotic expressions for the O(Ξ±sv2){\mathcal O}(\alpha_s v^2) short-distance coefficients, and reconfirm the early speculation that at next-to-leading order in Ξ±s\alpha_s, the double logarithm of type ln⁑2(s/mc2)\ln^2 (s/m_c^2) appearing in various NRQCD short-distance coefficients is always associated with the helicity-suppressed channels.Comment: v3, 6 pages, 2 figures, 1 table; matching the published versio

Some recent progress in understanding exclusive double charmonium production at BB factories

We review some recent progress in understanding various exclusive double charmonium production processes at BB factories, within the nonrelativistic QCD factorization framework. First we investigate the impact of the joint perturbative and relativistic correction on the process that has attracted a great amount of attention in the past decade, e+eβˆ’β†’J/ψ+Ξ·ce^+e^-\to J/\psi+\eta_c. We then briefly discuss the phenomenological implication of the next-to-leading order perturbative correction to the processes e+eβˆ’β†’J/ψ+Ο‡c0,1,2(Ξ·c2)e^+e^-\to J/\psi+\chi_{c0,1,2} (\eta_{c2}). We further emphasize a novel theoretical challenge, which is recently discovered by applying the NRQCD factorization approach to the helicity-suppressed hard exclusive reactions involving heavy quarkonium.Comment: 9 pages, 2 figures, 1 table. Some sharp inequalities involving Seiffert and other means and their concise proofs

In the paper, by establishing the monotonicity of some functions involving the sine and cosine functions, the authors provide concise proofs of some known inequalities and find some new sharp inequalities involving the Seiffert, contra-harmonic, centroidal, arithmetic, geometric, harmonic, and root-square means of two positive real numbers aa and bb with a≠ba\ne b.Comment: 10 page

Spin-Liquid State for Two-Dimensional Heisenberg Antiferromagnets on a Triangular Lattice

The spin liquid state of the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model on a triangular lattice is studied within the self-consistent Green's function method. It is shown that the spin excitation spectra is gapless, and ground-state energy per site is Eg/NJ=βˆ’0.966E_{g}/NJ=-0.966, which is in very good agreement with the results obtained within the variational Monte Carlo method based on the resonating-valence-bond state. Some thermodynamic properties are also discussed.Comment: 4 pages, Revtex, Three figures are not included, and can be obtained by request ([email protected]
