Quantization of a gauge theory on a curved noncommutative space
We study quantization of a gauge analogon of the Grosse-Wulkenhaar model: we
find divergent one-loop contributions to the 1-point and 2-point Green
functions. We obtain that five counterterms are necessary for renormalization
and that all divergences are logarithmic.Comment: 23 pages, 3 figure
(Non)renormalizability of the D-deformed Wess-Zumino model
We continue the analysis of the -deformed Wess-Zumino model which was
started in the previous paper. The model is defined by a deformation which is
non-hermitian and given in terms of the covariant derivatives . We
calculate one-loop divergences in the two-point, three-point and four-point
Green functions. We find that the divergences in the four-point function cannot
be absorbed and thus our model is not renormalizable. We discuss possibilities
to render the model renormalizable.Comment: 19 pages; version accepted for publication in Phys.Rev.D; new section
with the detailed discussion on renormalizabilty added and a special choice
of coupling constants which renders the model renormalizable analyze
The nutritive value of Valjevac grassland - Zasavica reservation
Valjevac pasture of Zasavica reservation with its area of 300 ha presents a
significant area for grazing cattle. In order to evaluate its potential for
livestock production, the botanical and chemical composition of hay in three
different time periods was observed (spring, summer and autumn). The
determined plants species confirmed the richness of Zasavica grasslands, as
well as the presence of dry, moist and forest habitat plants. The analyzed
plants mostly belong to the Poaceae, Fabaceae, Asteraceae and Plantaginaceae
families. Chemical analysis determined that the protein content decreased
(P<0.01) from April (17.22±0.40 %) to October (10.30±0.16 %), and cellulose
content increased (P<0.01) (from 19.07±0.38 % in April to 21.65±0.41 % in
October). The calculated energy density of hay samples ranged from 0.425
Starch Units (SU) in October, 0.443 SU in April to 0.448 SU in June. The
Valjevac pasture with its numerous plant species is of great importance in
upkeeping biodiversity and also presents a solid base for livestock
production. The determined levels of manganese and copper point out to the
need of copper supplementation especially during the late summer and autumn
periods. [Projekat Ministarstva nauke Republike Srbije, br. III46002
Smart Manufacturing as a framework for Smart Mining
Based on the analogy between manufacturing and mining (i.e. ore 'production'), smart mining has four dimensions: (i) advanced digital-oriented technologies (such as Cloud computing and the Internet of things) with automated Cyber-Physical Systems (CPSs), adaptable production processes (dependent on working conditions) and production volume control (with optimal resource consumption); (ii) smart maintenance of CPSs; (iii) new ways for workers to perform their activities, using advanced digital-oriented technologies; and (iv) smart supply-chain (procurement of materials and spare parts / products delivery). This paper presents a case study on the smart mining approach implemented at a coal mining system in Serbia
