Este año, nuestro cuarto Panorama de Efectividad en el Desarrollo (DEO 2012) muestra que la implementación del Marco de la Efectividad en el Desarrollo del BID está rindiendo resultados positivos. En el 2012, continuamos trabajando para mejorar la manera en que medimos, damos seguimiento y evaluamos los progresos realizados para alcanzar los objetivos de desarrollo de nuestra región.

Development Effectiveness Overview (DEO) 2010

The 2010 Development Effectiveness Overview (DEO) highlights progress in the implementation of the Development Effectiveness Framework, mandated by the Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank as part of the 9th General Capital Increase. The report shows the results of the IBD's efforts to devise and apply monitoring and evaluation instruments that ensure that its work is duly executed and the outputs and outcomes of its actions are materializing on the ground, as well as on how these actions contribute to achieving key development results in the Region. The report specifically presents the results of the new strategic focus; the effectiveness of IDB products; social policy for equity and productivity; infrastructure and institutions for competitiveness and social welfare; competitive regional and global international integration; environmental protection, Bank responses to climate change, promotion of renewable energy and ensuring food security, as well as the IDB's work in Haiti

El Panorama de la Efectividad en el Desarrollo (DEO) 2010 es el segundo informe anual corporativo sobre efectividad del BID desde el realineamiento del Banco en 2007. Este informe muestra que la implementación de nuestra agenda de efectividad en el desarrollo está generando resultados alentadores. Nos esforzamos en hacer las cosas precisas y en hacerlas bien, para contribuir al logro del crecimiento sostenible y equitativo en América Latina y el Caribe. Esto implica efectuar acciones como una organización basada en resultados, donde la efectividad de nuestro trabajo -en todas las etapas y en todos los productos- se mida, sea monitoreada e informada. Esto significa rendir cuentas por nuestro trabajo y una oportunidad de aprender sobre cómo mejorar.

El Panorama de la Efectividad en el Desarrollo (DEO) es el informe corporativo anual del BID que da cuenta de la efectividad de su trabajo y expone los resultados logrados con la implementación de la agenda de Efectividad en el Desarrollo del Banco. El DEO 2011 informa sobre el estatus de los indicadores definidos por los Gobernadores del Banco en el marco del Noveno Aumento General de Capital (BID-9) al iniciarse el período 2012-2015.

The Development Effectiveness Overview (DEO) is the IDB's annual corporate report that accounts for the effectiveness of its work, stating the results achieved with the implementation of the Bank's Development Effectiveness agenda. The 2011 DEO is focused on the status of the indicators defined by the Bank's Governors within the Ninth General Capital Increase (IDB-9), at the beginning of the 2012-15 period. The document reports on how the Bank is implementing the results-based framework from programming to project design, monitoring, implementation and evaluation, allowing it to measure the effectiveness and learn from the results of its work.
