Seneca Philosophus
Addressing classicists, philosophers, students, and general readers alike, this
volume emphasizes the unity of Seneca's work and his originality as a translator
of Stoic ideas in the literary forms of imperial Rome. It features a vitalizing
diversity of contributors from different generations, disciplines, and research
cultures. Several prominent Seneca scholars publishing in other languages are
for the first time made accessible to anglophone readers.

Catholic and Intellectual: Conjunction or Disjunction?
Marcia L. Colish lectures on the apparent disconnect that is being formed in the contemporary world of the notion that Catholicism could not be related to anything rational. She highlights the idea that throughout history and through her practice, the Church in her institutions and universities has been a supporter of intellectual formation and development, not an inhibitor.https://ecommons.udayton.edu/uscc_marianist_award/1011/thumbnail.jp
