Differences in the ball throwing technique in preschool children different age
PraktiÄna primjena ovog istraživanja podrazumijeva izmjene u predÅ”kolskoj nastavi tjelesnog odgoja i organiziranim igrama s loptom kada djevojÄice i djeÄaci zajedno vježbaju.Although gender differences have been noted in many motor tasks, differences are minimal during early childhood. In the pre-school period the differences start to increase. Throwing is one of the most useful basic motor skills and is included in various sports such as baseball, softball, basketball, handball, soccer and cricket (Gallahue, Ozmun & Goodway, 2012). The aim of this study was to determine the differences in the technique of ball throwing and its structural elements in preschool children. The sample consisted of 229 preschool children aged 3 to 7 enrolled in three kindergarten in capital of Croatia. Measurement of the ball throwing technique is part of the Test of Gross Motor Development - 2 testing kit (Ulrich, 2000). Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Bonferroni post-hoc test were used to determine differences in throwing technique between boys and girls, as well in four technique elements. The main results of this study show that significant differences exists between boys and girls in the ball throwing (p <0.05). The Bonferroni post-hoc test shows that boys are significantly better (2.32) in ball throw score than girls (1.20). Furthermore, the results show that boys are better at all ball throwing performance criteria (p <0.05)(body rotation, opposite leg transferring weight, diagonal arm swing after throw), except in the first ā preparatory arm swing. Practical application of this research would imply modifications of preschool physical education classes and organized games containing ball throw when girls and boys exercise together

Adjuvatno lijeÄenje melanoma
For decades, interferon-alpha (IFN-Ī±) has been the only option in the adjuvant treatment of high-risk melanoma. Despite numerous clinical trials and meta-analyzes, IFN-Ī± is not yet a gold standard. It indeed showed benefit in progressionfree survival (PFS) and to a lesser extent in overall survival (OS) but at the cost of high toxicity.
The emergence of new, revolutionary therapies in the treatment of metastatic melanoma, like immunotherapy (checkpoint inhibitors - CTLA4 and PD1 inhibitors) and targeted therapies (BRAF and MEK inhibitors), led to considering their potential effect in adjuvant/preventive use.
A number of phase II and phase III trials analyzed the adjuvant application of targeted therapies and immunotherapies in completely resected stage III melanoma (IIIA, IIIB, IIIC) and stage IV melanoma (PD1 inhibitor nivolumab). They showed a clear benefit in relapse-free survival (RFS) and overall survival (OS). This led to a change in guidelines for adjuvant treatment of melanoma and approval of immunotherapy and targeted therapy by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and EMA (European medicines agency) in the indications mentioned above.
Further trials are underway in other high-risk stages (like IIC) and in neoadjuvant treatment of stage III melanoma.
Brojne studije faze II i III ispitivale su adjuvantnu primjenu ciljane terapije i imunoterapije u kompletno reseciranom stadiju III (IIIA, IIIB, IIIC) i stadiju IV (anti PD-1 inhibitor nivolumab).

Analyzing Tram Line 17 PreÄko - Borongaj in the City of Zagreb
This paper is based on the analysis of tram Line 17 in the City of Zagreb. The main characteristics of the line are described in the thesis. Unsustainable mobility is a problem in Zagreb due to large number of private cars on roads resulting in low travel speeds and congestion. The goal of this paper is to determine the utilization of the offered capacity and provide an insight into speeds and travel times on the line using formulas, diagrams and tables, based on the collected data, and to improve efficiency of public transportation in the City of Zagreb
Positioning of new products based on the example of Croatia manufactures
The subject of this final thesis is the positioning of new products based on the examples of Croatian manufacturers. During their lifetime, business entities market various products with which they want to attract consumers to purchase and use them. In addition to product production planning, business entities pay special attention to the positioning of new products on the market, because the very success and long-term survival of the product on the market depends on how the new products are positioned on the market. When positioning, it is important that the business entity, when positioning new products, chooses the right competitive advantages on which to base its marketing campaign and through which it will stand out on the market among its target group of consumers and connect with consumers through the awakening of positive emotions in consumers. When positioning a new product on the market, the most successful are those business entities which conduct extensive market research, get to know their target group of consumers well, elaborate in detail a communication and marketing plan related to product positioning, and those business entities which continuously monitor the market situation and adapt to changes in time which take place on the same. Business entities KraÅ” group and Ledo plus d.o.o. have been operating successfully for years on many markets, and when positioning new products through the implementation of marketing activities that emphasize the characteristics of the product, the tradition they nurture in business and arouse emotions in consumers, they achieve that their products are successfully positioned on the market and are well received by the target consumer
