Air drying resin and composition
The invention relates to an airdrying resin suitable for a coating composition characterized in that the resin is apolyesteramide prepared from: A) at least one anhydride chosen from the list containing succinic, glutaric, citraconic, itaconic orQ maleic anhydride or a combination of any of them, and B) at least one alkanol-amine, and C) at least one fatty acid, wherein the fatty acid is incorporated in the resin in an amount equivalent to an oil- length between 15 and 40%. This airdrying resin is both water and solvent-soluble, having a combination of properties desirable for different types of applications. The invention relates also to a method for preparing such a polyesteramide resin, to a composition comprising at least one polyesteramide resin and a method for preparing such a composition, to a substrate fully or partially coated with this composition, a method for curing the coated substrate, the cured and coated substrate and the use of resin in various applications.<br/

Polyesteramide based on a. at least one anhydride Al, b. optionally at least one anhydride A2, c. at least one di-alkanolamine, wherein anhydride Al is present in an amount of 50-100% based on the total amount of anhydride, and anhydride A2 is present in an amount of 0-50% based on the total amount of anhydride and whereby the anhydride Al is chosen from the list succinic anhydride, methyl succinic anhydride, maleic anhydride or glutaric anhydride or a combination of any of them and the anhydride A2 is chosen from the list hexahydro phthalic anhydride, phthalic anhydride or methyl-hexahydro phthalic anhydride or a combination of any of them.<br/

The invention relates to a coating formulation for preparing a medical coating, which coating formulation comprises (a) at least one multifunctional polymerizable compound according to formula (I), wherein G is a residue of a polyfunctional compound having at least n functional groups, wherein each R1 and each R2 independently represents hydrogen or a group selected from substituted and unsubstituted hydrocarbons which optionally contain one or more heteroatoms, and wherein n is an integer having a value of at least 2; and (b) at least one initiator
