    The Impact of Management Information System on Human Resources Management Strategy "Empirical Study in the Jordanian Banking Sector"

    The study aimed to analyze the significance role and impact of Management information System on Human Resource Management strategy in the Jordanian banking sector. The study population was all Human Resource staff in the top and middle level management of all national Banks in the Jordanian sector. The” unit of analysis” were top and the middle line mangers in the banking sector, a sum of (170) questionnaires were distributed, SPSS technique used to test major and minor hypothesis such as: spearman correlation, one way ANOVA, and simple regression. The Study revealed that MIS had a significant impact at level (P≀ 0.05) on HRM strategies in the Jordanian Banking Sector. Also, It was cleared that ‘Individual & procedures’ variable had the most effective & active role in shaping the HRM strategies in the Jordanian banking sector as well.     Leadership Competencies and Competitive Advantage "Empirical Study on Jordan Telecommunications"

    This study examines the impact of leadership competencies on competitive advantage in the Jordanian telecommunications industry (JTI). The population of the study consisted of all working companies in the (JTI). A simple random sampling technique was used to select (2) working companies out of (3). The unit of analysis who surveyed for this study were the middle line departments' mangers, supervisors and team leaders, a total of 120 questionnaires were administered to respondents; statistical tools were used to test the hypothesis such as: one way ANOVA and simple regression. The Study revealed that leadership competences had a significant impact at level of (P? 0.05) on competitive advantage by the Jordanian telecommunication companies in the Jordanian market, as well an existence relationship between leadership competences and competitive advantage. Also, The study found that Leadership in the Jordanian Telecom industry is strongly aligned with the International standards and adopting the competencies which are honored by the American Management Association such as: Strategy development, communication skills, fostering innovation and creativity, developing leaders, and hiring talent.   Keywords: Leadership competences, Competitive advantage, Hybrid strategy, Jordan telecommunications Industry

    Decision Support Systems and its Impact on Organization Empowerment Field Study at Jordanian Universities

    The concept and applications of Decision support systems (DSS) help companies to make better business decisions in order to attain the organizational objectives in an efficient way. Ample evidence indicated that building empowerment is important for having access to information and resources, thinking critically, being effective, create effecting change and building confidence. The study aims to identify the level of DSS applications and empowerment in the Jordanian universities, as well analyzing the impact of decision support systems on empowerment. The study developed a conceptual framework that consists of two parts which simulate the study model. The target population of the study comprised of all faculty members in the colleges of economics and business in the Jordanian universities (state and private). An equal stratified random sampling of (5) public universities and (5) private ones were taken, (150) surveys were distributed, (142) surveys were included in the analysis, (38) items were designed based on previous studies to meet the study objectives. The Study revealed that DSS generators had a significant effect at level  (P? 0.05) on organization empowerment in the Jordanian universities, also the study found a statistically significant effect of  DSS generators on personal and collective empowerment  in the Jordanian universities.   Keywords: Information systems, Decision support systems, Organization empowerment, Jordanian universities
