The Morale of Public Secondary School Teachers in Southern Jordan from their Point of View الروح المعنوية لدى معلمي المدارس الثانوية الحكومية في جنوب الأردن من وجهة نظرهم

Abstract: This study aimed at finding out the level of morale of Public Secondary School Teachers in Southern Jordan from their Point of View, and identify the significant differences between the means of the responses of the subjects of the study sample, which are attributed to the difference of variables: sex, experience, academic qualification, and governorate. To achieve the objectives of the study the descriptive – survey methodology was used, through developing a questionnaire, which has been verified the validity and stability. The study was applied to a random sample consisting of (540) male and female teachers. The results showed that the level of morale of Public Secondary School Teachers in Southern Jordan from their Point of View was medium; the results also showed that there were significant differences in the morale of Public Secondary School Teachers in Southern Jordan from their Point of View attributed to to sex in favor of males. While there were no significant differences due to years of experience and academic qualification. But there were significant differences attributed to governorate variable. There were significant differences between Al-Karak governorate on one hand and each of Tafila, Ma’an, and Aqaba, governorates on the other hand. The differences were in favor of the three governorates: Tafila, Ma’an, and Aqaba. ملخص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف مستوى الروح المعنوية لدى معلمي المدارس الثانوية الحكومية في جنوب الأردن من وجهة نظرهم, وتعرف الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية بين متوسطات استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة التي تعزى إلى اختلاف متغيرات (الجنس, والخبرة, والمؤهل العلمي, والمحافظة). ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي من خلال تطوير استبانة تم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها. طبقت الدراسة على عينة عشوائية تكونت من (540) معلما ومعلمة, أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى الروح المعنوية لدى معلمي المدارس الثانوية الحكومية في جنوب الأردن من وجهة نظرهم جاء متوسطا, وأظهرت النتائج أن هناك فروقاً في درجة الروح المعنوية لدى معلمي المدارس الثانوية الحكومية في جنوب الأردن من وجهة نظرهم تعزى إلى اختلاف متغير الجنس ولصالح الذكور,وعدم وجود فروق تعزى إلى أثر سنوات الخبرة, وعدم وجود فروق تعزى لأثر المؤهل العلمي, ووجود فروق بين الكرك من جهة وكل من الطفيلة, ومعان, والعقبة من جهة أخرى, وجاءت الفروق لصالح كل من الطفيلة, ومعان, والعقبة
