Synthesis and characterization of chitosan-conjugated arachidic acid for self-assembled nanoparticles as a new drug delivery carrier

Kim, Dae-Duk.Chitosan oligosaccharide (CSO), a water–soluble low molecular weight chitosan, was hydrophobically modified with arachidic acid (AA), long chain fatty acid, through an EDC coupling reaction with different ratio of AA/CSO. Conjugation of synthesized chitosan oligosaccharide-conjugated arachidic acid (CSO-AA) was confirmed by FT-IR and 1H-NMR. The substitution ratios increased from 0.4 to 2.33 molar of AA substitution on CSO when the initial AA/CSO ratios increased during synthesis. Formation and characteristic of self-assembled nanoparticles of CSO-AA were determined by fluorescence spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering method and transmission electron microscopy. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) values decreased from 1.87 to 1.02 µg/ml with increasing the substitution ratio. The CSO-AAs formed spherical shape self-assembled nanoparticles with the particle sizes in the range of 65-77 nm depending on the substitution ratio. The zeta potentials were in the range of 2.74-16.15 mV. The results showed CSO-AA was successfully synthesized which could be applied for the preparation of self-assembled nanoparticles for hydrophobic drugs.Maste

학위논문 (석사)-- 서울대학교 대학원 : 협동과정 과학사및과학철학전공, 2015. 2. 홍성욱.본 연구는 과학기술학의 통찰을 통해 논쟁적인 과학적 연구대상을 이해하고자 한다. 이를 위해 경락의 실체로 알려진 프리모관(Primo Vessel)의 연구 사례를 참여관찰을 통해 분석하였다. 과학기술학의 ANT는 연구대상을 대상과 연구자간의 이종간 결합의 안정한 형태로 본다. 프리모관은 한의학물리 연구실 내에서 다양한 개별 연구자에 의해 단일한 대상이 아닌 다중의 대상(multiple objects)으로 구성됐다. 그러나 논문과 시연 실험의 과정에서 프리모관은 단일한 대상으로 통합되었으며 하나의 연구대상으로 연구실 문을 나섰다. 그리고 다른 연구실로 들어가면 다시 그 모양이 변한다. 그럼에도 연구자들은 다양한 대상을 프리모관으로 부르며 동일시한다. 이 과정은 프리모관이 연구실 내에서는 다양한 연구자와 각각 특정한 결합을 이루며 다양한 대상이 되었다가 논문과 시연 실험에서는 하나로 나타나는 것으로 이해할 수 있다. 단일한 대상으로의 수렴과 다중의 대상으로 발산하는 과정을 지속하는 프리모관의 이러한 동역학(Dynamics)은 발견에 논쟁을 불러오기도 했지만 동시에 더 많은 연구자들을 끌어들이는 동력이 됐다. 본 논문은 다음과 같이 구성된다. 먼저 과학적 연구대상에 대한 과학기술학의 선행 연구를 리뷰하고 본 연구의 관점과 비교한다. 둘째, 한의학물리연구실에서 진행된 프리모관의 발견을 역사적으로 재구성한다. 셋째, 참여관찰을 바탕으로 한의학물리연구실에서 프리모관이 다중적 연구대상으로 구성되는 과정을 서술하고, 다중적 프리모관이 논문에서는 단일화되는 과정을 분석한다. 넷째, 프리모관이 연구실의 벽을 넘어 연결망을 구성하고, 다른 연구실로 들어가는 과정을 본다. 과학적 연구대상으로서 프리모관이 다중적 대상으로 구성되는 과정을 이해하는 것은 발견이 진행 중인 대상에 대해 새롭게 이해하는 방법을 제공한다.1. 서론 ·········································· 1 2. 실험실의 과학 활동과 과학적 연구대상 ············· 5 3. 한의학물리연구실로 들어온 프리모관 ··············· 11 4. 한의학물리연구실 내의 다중의 프리모관 ············ 28 5. 프리모관의 전파: 논문, 학회, 시연 실험 ··········· 43 6. 결론: 연구대상의 동역학 ························· 55 참고문헌 ·········································· 58 Abstract ········································· 66Maste

상업영화 속 음악 장면에서 시각적, 음악적 템포의 정량적 관계 분석

Previous studies have explored the relationship between visual and auditory signals in multimedia data using CV (Computer Vision) and MIR (Music Information Retrieval) techniques. This thesis focuses on the temporal correlation between music and video signals in commercial motion pictures. Tempo means the speed of music the rate of activity. Musical tempo is created by temporal periodicity and visual speed is created through spatial variance or salient event intervals. This means another indicator to combine musical and visual tempo scale is needed. We refer to this as Tempo Index. In this research, multimodal tempo relationship is analyzed by estimating each tempo index of training data. Visual tempo derived from combination of motion vector magnitude, shot length, and visual activity index. Musical tempo is estimated by calculating beat intervals. To match visual and musical tempo, two indices are converted to tempo indices referring to study of Motion tempo and multisensory integration. All features used as the ground truth are compensated manually after automated computation. The experimental result shows that there exists a linear relationship between proposed two tempo indicators. This global tempo congruency is evaluated by analyzing other film data and user survey.
