    聴覚障害者支援からみた高等教育のユニバーサルデザイン : A女子大学の聴覚障害学生と支援学生の相互関係を焦点に

    Access of disabled students to higher education, i.e. adoption of universal design in higher education, is advancing rapidly. The theme of this study will be limited to higher education and hearing impairment. The purposes of this study are (1) to focus on both hearing-impaired students and on support students and to clarify the needs of both with regard to support, (2) to consider "reasonable adjustment" for establishing support systems, i.e., interactions between human beings and environments, through examinations of suitable ways for adopting universal design in education that incorporate viewpoints of both impaired students and support students, and (3) to consider suitable ways for impaired students to achieve independence based on these considerations. The method used in this study mainly consists of interviews with three hearing-impaired students and three support students of Women\u27s University A. This study revealed that "communication empowerment" is being put into practice by both hearing-impaired students and support students in the process of adopting universal design in education

    After The Equal Employment Opportunity Law was enacted in 1986, Japanese companies began to slowly recruit and promote women to managerial positions. The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has publicly commended companies that endeavored to give equal opportunities to female employees and changed working conditions or corporate culture which militated against equal opportunity. This thesis analyzes the relations between business performance and the status of women in companies that were honored between 2001-2006. That results and the findings of this research are that business performance was good well and that the length of service of female employee was drastically prolonged, and that the numbers of the female managers increased in these companies
