WEKO: A New Repository System as a Function of Content Management System
4th International Conference on Open RepositoriesThis presentation was part of the session : Conference PostersContent management systems (CMS) such as Drupal, Joomla, and Plone enable users to construct web communities that make available many useful functionalities to their users. In most CMS systems, website functionalities are embodied as modules separate from the core system and installed as the need arises. The National Institute of Informatics in Japan has developed an AJAX-oriented CMS called NetCommons (NC) which is being used by educators. This study proposes a repository module for NC. The name "WEKO" comes from Swahili and means "repository" in that language
Two-Band-Type Superconducting Instability in MgB2
Using the tight-binding method for the -bands in MgB, the Hubbard
on-site Coulomb interaction on two inequivalent boron -orbitals is
transformed into expressions in terms of -band operators. For scattering
processes relevant to the problemin which a wave vector {\bf q} is parallel to
, it is found to take a relatively simple form consisting of
intra-band Coulomb scattering, interband pair scattering etc. with large
constant coupling constants. This allows to get a simple expression for the
amplitude of interband pair scattering between two -bands, which diverges
if the interband polarization function in it becomes large enough. The latter
was approximately evaluated and found to be largely enhanced in the band
structure in MgB. These results lead to a divergent interband pair
scattering, meaning two-band-type superconducting instability with enhanced
. Adding a subsidiary BCS attractive interaction in each band into
consideration, a semi-quantitative gap equation is given, and and isotope
exponent are derived. The present instability is asserted to be the
origin of high in MgB.Comment: 4 pages, to be published in J. Phys. Soc. Jpn. vol. 70, No.
The proton and neutron distribution in Na isotopes: the development of halo and shell structure
The interaction cross sections for reaction are calculated
using Glauber model. The continuum Hartree-Bogoliubov theory has been
generalized to treat the odd particle system and take the continuum into
account. The theory reproduces the experimental result quite well. The matter
distributions from the proton drip line to the neutron drip line in Na isotopes
have been systematically studied and presented. The relation between the shell
effects and the halos has been examined. The tail of the matter distribution
shows a strong dependence on the shell structure. The neutron N=28 closure
shell fails to appear due to the coming down of the and .
The development of the halo was understood as changes in the occupation in the
next shell or the sub-shell close to the continuum limit. The central proton
density is found to be decreasing near the neutron drip line, which is due to
the proton-neutron interaction. However the diffuseness of the proton density
does not change for the whole Na isotopes.Comment: 10 pages, 4 figure
