Concessions Bargaining in Auto

[Excerpt] David Bensman\u27s Concessions at South Works in the Winter issue of Labor Research Review was an excellent recounting and analysis of the concessions process at United Steel workers Local 65. However, it misrepresents the nature of both the concessions and the concessions process in the United Auto Workers. Not only did the UAW\u27s contracts with Ford and General Motors fail to provide job security as advertised, they were also arrived at by a process fully as manipulative as that in the USWA

The N−ΔN-\Delta Weak Axial-Vector Amplitude C5a(0)C_{5}^a(0)

The weak $N-\Delta$ axial-vector transition amplitude $<\Delta| A_{\pi ^{+}}^\mu |N>$ - important in $N^{*}$ production processes in general and in isobar models describing $\nu_\mu N\to \mu \Delta$ processes in particular - is examined using a broken symmetry algebraic approach to QCD which involves the realization of chiral current algebras. We calculate a value for the form factor $C_{5}^{A}(0)$ in good agreement with experiment.Comment: 9 pages, RevTex 3.
