    Karakteristik Batako Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) Limbah Ban Bekas untuk Material Dinding Bangunan Ramah Lingkungan

    Batako merupakan salah satu material alternatif dinding yang murah, kuat, dan mudah dalam pengerjaannya. Tetapi mempunyai kelemahan antara lain berat dan mudah pecah. Penggunaan potongan limbah ban bekas dalam campuran batako diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ketahanan batako, sehingga ringan dan tidak mudah pecah. Metode penelitian dilakukan menggunakan benda uji dinding dengan ukuran batako 34,5 x 12 x 9 cm. Campuran batako antara semen : agregat adalah 1 : 6 dengan mengunakan fas 0,6.  Sedangkan kadar % volume ban bekas divariasi sebesar 50%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 70% dan 75% tehadap volume agregat. Kelecakan campuran ditingkatkan dengan penambahan superplasticizer sebesar 0,5% terhadap berat semen sehingga didapatkan campuan beton SCC. Karakteristik fisik dan mekanik dinding batako diketahui dengan melakukan pengujian berat satuan, kuat tekan, kuat lentur dan kuat geser terhadap benda uji berdasarkan SNI 03-0348-1989, SNI 03-4165-1996 dan SNI 03-4166-1996. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa berat satuan batako SCC adalah sebesar 913,02 kg/m3 sehingga termasuk kategori batako ringan atau menurun 52,9% dibandingkan batako tanpa ban bekas. Sedangkan nilai kuat tekan, kuat lentur dan kuat geser dinding batako akan menurun dengan meningkatnya penambahan kadar ban bekas

    This study was aimed to determine influence of temperature variation to the compressive strength and split cylinder strength of aluminium wire-mesh fibre concrete. Specimen was concrete cylinder with 15 cm in diameter and 30 cm in high, and the volume fraction of aluminium wire-mesh fibre was specified equal to 0.2%. Temperature variations applied in this research were 25oC (room temperature), 400oC and 800oC. The result showed that increasing of temperature had caused compressive strength reduction.Compressive strength at temperature 400oC and 800oC for both normal concrete and wire-mesh fibre concrete were equal to 22.04%, 39.21%, 21.68% and 45.81%. Split cylinder test at temperature 400oC and 800oC for both normal concrete and wire-mesh fibre concrete showed reduction which were equal to 20.36%, 51.27%, 21.98% and 56.30%. On the other hand modulus of elasticity reduction at temperature 400oC and 800oC for both normal concrete and wire-mesh fibre concrete were 2.20%, 65.22%, 6.79% and 61.33%, where all of tests werecompared to normal concrete and wire-mesh fibre concrete at room temperature (25oC)

    Abu Terbang (Fly Ash) Sebagai Bahan Tambah Untuk Meningkatkan Kuat Tekan Bata Beton (Paving Block)

    This research was aimed to know the influence of fly ash addition at paving block stress strength. Variation of fly ash was 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80% from weight of cement with water cement ratio 0,25. The speciment was hexagonal and cube with the comparison 1 cement : 6 sand. The result showed that the stress strength of hexagonal paving block at 56 days with fly ash 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% was increase to 37,166% (7,057 MPa), 18,248% (3,465 MPa), 8.110% (1,54 MPa), and 14,193% (2,695 MPa). The cubic paving block at 56 days with fly ash 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% was increase to 35,932% (5,969 MPa),15,135% (2,514 MPa), 9,534% (1,584 MPa), and 8,318% (1,382 MPa)

    Traffic accidents are increasing along with the increasing number of motorcycles and riders who drive vehicles exceeding the maximum allowable speed limit (speeding). Data from the National Police Traffic Corps, traffic accidents in 2022 reached 137,000 cases with 27,531 deaths, 12,230 serious injuries, and 163,686 minor injuries. Road transport accident victims in Indonesia will reach 204,447 people throughout 2022. This number has increased by 33% (year-on-year), compared to victims in 2021 which reached 153,732 people. To reduce the high number and number of victims of traffic accidents, one of the efforts that can be taken is by socializing or campaigning for traffic safety from an early age and also implementing the school safety zone. The school safety zone is part of traffic management and engineering activities in the form of traffic control and use of a road section in the school environment. The community service of the science and technology application scheme was carried out at SDN 2 Grecol, Kalimanah. This service activity includes 4 activities, namely delivering road safety material, designing the school safety zone design, constructing the school safety zone, and practical trials of crossing the road safely in the school safety zone. The type of school safety zone built in front of SDN 2 Grecol is a single type.Kecelakaan lalu lintas semakin meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah sepeda motor dan pengendara yang memacu kendaraan melebihi batas kecepatan maksimum. Data Korlantas Polri, kecelakaan lalu lintas tahun 2022 mencapai 137.000 kasus dengan jumlah korban meninggal dunia 27.531 orang, luka berat 12.230 orang, dan luka ringan 163.686 orang. Korban kecelakaan angkutan jalan di Indonesia mencapai 204.447 orang sepanjang 2022. Jumlahnya naik hingga 33% (yoy), dibandingkan korban pada 2021 sebesar 153.732 orang. Untuk mengurangi tingginya jumlah dan korban kecelakaan lalu lintas upaya yang dapat dilakukan salah satunya yaitu dengan sosialisasi atau kampanye keselamatan lalu lintas sejak usia dini dan juga penerapan kawasan Zona Selamat Sekolah (ZoSS). ZoSS merupakan bagian dari kegiatan manajemen dan rekayasa lalu lintas berupa pengendalian lalu lintas dan penggunaan suatu ruas jalan di lingkungan sekolah. Pengabdian masyarakat skim penerapan ipteks dilakukan di SDN 2 Grecol, Kalimanah. Kegiatan pengabdian meliputi 4 aktivitas yaitu penyampaian materi keselamatan jalan, perancangan desain ZoSS, pembangunan kawasan ZoSS, dan uji coba praktik menyeberang jalan secara selamat di kawasan ZoSS. Tipe ZoSS yang dibangun di depan SDN 2 Grecol, Kalimanah, Purbalingga adalah ZoSS tipe tunggal
