Successful treatment of IgG4 related retroperitoneal fibrosis with rituximab

Disbalances in the adaptive and humoral immune system may cause IgG4-related disease. This rare disease can affect multiple organ systems, including the retroperitoneum. Retroperitoneal fibrosis can result in postrenal obstruction with accompanied renal failure and/or pain.
