Peran Kepemimpinan Kiai dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Kerja Dosen Ma’had Aly Sukorejo Situbondo

The figure of a Kiai as the director of Ma'had Aly Sukorejo Situbondo is very crucial in motivating lecturers’ work.This research aims to find and to analyze the role and the strategies of Kiai in enhancing the lecturers’ work motivation. It uses a qualitative approach that emphasizes inductive analysis through reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The role of Kiai's leadership in enhancing lecturers’ work motivation at Ma'had Aly Sukorejo Situbondo is in his capacity as a competitive supervisor in every lecturer’s ability to increase personal awareness so can do work based on main duties and functions (TUPOKSI), by giving an example and spiritual guidance before instructing. The Kiai's strategy as the director of Ma'had Aly are holds a meeting with masyayikh, maintain sustainable control to Ma'had Aly 's regulation, buildsan adjacency with all elements (egalitarian), uses uswatun hasanah approach and Sufistic strategies, discipline in carrying out the duties. The positive impact of the strategies of Kiai in enhancing the lecturers’ work motivation at Ma'had Aly Sukorejo is the lecturers respect him more, dare to express their aspirations, but still maintain politeness.</jats:p

Studies of level visual thinking in geometry

Abstract Learning mathematics is how students get information that is built capable of solving a problem. One way of thinking someone is by visual thinking. Visual thinking has an important role in the success of mathematics learning, especially in solving mathematical problems that require high-level reasoning, one of them in solving the problems of abstract geometry. Although to help students develop their ability to think visually or visualize, first the teacher must pay attention to the level of visual thinking of students. This paper aims to determine the level of visual thinking in geometry. Based on the results of the literature review the authors built three levels of visual thinking in geometry, level 0: Non-visual (NV), level 1: local visual (LV) and level 2: Global Visual (GV).</jats:p

Analysis of the indicators forming the mathematical resilience of high school students

Abstract When students learn to solve a problem in mathematics, they often face difficulties and challenges. The positive attitude of students in dealing and overcoming various problems that arise is known as mathematical resilience. Students with good mathematical resilience will be tough in solving various problems and will certainly get good learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the variables that form the mathematical resilience of high school students. The subjects in this study were 110 high school students. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) techniques. Each respondent is given a mathematical resilience scale consisting of 25 statements which are the variables forming the mathematical resilience. The findings in this study indicate that seven main indicators that form mathematical resilience can be formulated in high school students. Each indicator is composed of several variables which are the constituent variables of the mathematical resilience ability. These indicators can be used as a foundation for further study of the mathematical resilience analysis of high school students.</jats:p

Hubungan Antara Nilai Prestasi Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak dengan Kepatuhan Terhadap Tata Tertib Madrasah

Aqidah morality as a field of study, is a lesson that discusses morals or everyday beha vior. Whether or not a person’s behavior in the madrasa can be seen from his adherence to the rules at the madrasa. This research is a quantitative research with correlational type. The results show that there is no relationship between the value of student achievement in the subject of Aqidah Morals with adherence to the rules of Madrasah or the relationship betwe en the two is not significant. This can be caused by the validity of the research instruments that are not in accordance with the research hypotheses, theoretical studies and relevant re search results. In addition, considering other possible variables as control variables, to find out whether after the control the scores of the two groups have a significant relationship or not. And obtained the price of the correlation coefficient of 0.162 (positive) with a probabi lity of error (Sig.) of 0.217 which is greater than 0.05. This means that there is no relations hip between the value of student achievement in the subjects of aqidah morality with adhe rence to the rules of Madrasah.</jats:p

Meningkatkan Self Esteem Korban Bulliying melalui Teknik Assertive Training

Islamic boarding schools are salaf educational institutions that uphold the values ​​of akhlaq al-karimah. However, it is very unfortunate, in the pesantren there is also bullying experienced by a student who has physical retardation and a slow way of thinking. Bullying received by the victim in the form of insults, ridicule and ridicule. The bullying causes the victim's self-esteem to decrease so that the victim tends to withdraw from the environment and is afraid to mingle with his friends. The condition of low self-esteem can be seen from the scale score given by the researcher to the counselee before the action is taken, namely 36. The score belongs to the category of low self-esteem. This study aims to increase the self-esteem of victims of bullying by using assertive training techniques. The research method used is action research. The results showed that the condition of the victim's self-esteem increased although not significantly after the action in cycle I. The score from the given scale was 61, the score was included in the category of moderate self-esteem. In the reflection of the first cycle, the counselor prepares for better treatment in the second cycle, until a score of 89 is obtained on the scale given by the counselor to the counselee after handling the second cycle. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that the self-esteem of victims of bullying can be increased by using assertive training techniques</jats:p

Peran Pembimbing dalam Membentuk Perilaku Istiqomah Shalat Tahajjud Santri Al-Fatih Islamic Boarding School

In Indonesia, Islamic Boarding Schools are a form of modernization of Islamic boarding schools, so in this millennial era, Islamic Boarding Schools are an attractive educational alternative, especia- lly for humans in this modern era. In Aceh, precisely in Bener Meriah Regency, the Al-Fatih Islamic Boarding School Foundation has been established, here researchers are interested in researching one of the routine activities of Al-Fatih Islamic Boarding School students, namely the application of ta- hajjud steadfastness in the Al-Fatih dormitory. The purpose of this study was to explore and describe the usefulness of research on the role of supervisors in shaping the behavior of istiqomah prayer ta- hajjud students of Al-Fatih Islamic Boarding School. This research method uses Bogdan and Taylor qualitative research methods that qualitative research is a procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. The results of the study can be concluded that the role of the supervisor in the Islamic Boarding School’s Tahajjud character is: (1) being a model or role model for students in student tahajjud activities, (2) being a demonstra- tor for students, (3) as a manager for santri activities, (4) as a a guide for the life of students and the last as a motivator for the soul of students.</jats:p

Makna Sanksi Adat Awig-Awig sebagai Nilai Konseling bagi Remaja Menyimpang di Karangasem Bali

Pergaulan remaja dapat ditemui dimana saja mulai di lingkungan keluarga sampai masyarakat umum yang membutuhkan adanya tata cara bergaul sehingga akan ditemui kehidupan yang damai dan rukun, apalagi remaja yang pada zaman sekarang menghadapi zaman yang penuh dengan tantangan dan godaan, apalagi yang berhubungan dengan gaya. Bentuk penyimpangan yang di lakukan oleh masing-masing personal remaja maupun kolektif dapat menjadi salah satu pelanggaran pada tata nilai masyarakat destruktif dan berskonsekuensi pada individu itu sendiri maupun sosial masyarakat seperti perilaku-perilaku remaja yang di luar batas norma dan ketentuan masyarakat yang berlaku serta masalah kriminalitas yang dominannya oknumnya ialah kaum remaja. Tujuan penelitian yang akan dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan sanksi adat awig-awig sebagai nilai konseling bagi remaja berprilaku menyimpang. Adapun masyarakat remaja kampung Kecicang Islam dalam peroses pemberian nilai-nilai konseling menggunakan beberapa tahapan dalam menanagani perilaku menyimpang masyarakat. Diantaranya dengan pemberian arahan (directing), pemberian nasihat, sanksi dan treatment, terminasi.</jats:p

KONSELING PERNIKAHAN PERSPEKTIF AL-GHAZALI DALAM KITAB IḤYĀ'U ‘ULŪMI AD-DĪN

Marriage counseling is a service in helping to solve problems related to marriage. The research method used is the library method. The results of this study indicate that the marriage counseling process according to al-Ghazali includes counseling requirements and counseling steps. Fulfillment of counseling requirements include the purpose of marriage counseling, effective counselor and counselee criteria, the relationship situation includes the situation between parents and children; between teacher and student; between friends and between families. The counseling steps are building relationships, identifying problems, determining material and actions. The counseling material is the purpose of marriage, motivation and prevention of marriage, the principle and danger of marriage, criteria for a good partner, adab reception, having good character and patience in facing suffering, joking and laughing, stability according to the partner's wishes, stable in jealousy, simple in spending , teach religion, act fairly, adab settlement, disputes, marital conduct, labor, divorce and the rights and obligations of husband and wife</jats:p

Mathematical creative thinking ability of junior high school students’ on polyhedron

Abstract Mathematical creative thinking ability is an important component that must be possessed by students because the problems in modern times are very difficult and require a high level of problem solving. The aims of this research is to illustrate and analyze the mathematical creative thinking ability of junior high school students in polyhedron topic. This research used a qualitative descriptive research approach and case study reseach design. Data collection techniques used in the form of written tests and interviews. The subjects was chosen from 35 students’ of class VIII in MTsN 1 Kota Serang in the academic year 2019/2020. This research used inductive data analysis techniques, the steps in analyzing data include: data reduction, data display, conclusions drawing and verification. The results showed the students’ mathematical creative thinking ability on polyhedron was in the medium category with a percentage in the high category 14%, medium category 69%, and low category 17%. The percentage of mathematical creative thinking ability based on aspects shows the aspect of originality 59%, fluency 61%, flexibility 62%, and elaboration 75%.</jats:p
