Liquidating Crude Oil Pollution of Rock Structures with the Aid of the Sanation Method by the Enzyme Preparation

Crude oil substances and substances contaminated thereby belong to the wide-spread sort of dangerous waste. In last years a special technology was developed by which natural non-bacterial enzymes of the hydrolase type are isolated and produced. Their special mixture is able to split crude oil, oils and their products. The principle of this method is that an aqueous solution of enzymes is applied in the contaminated environment. This solution has two effects it leach and simultaneously degrade-decompose the rock background..This biodegradation method has been succesfully in removal a contaminated railway gravel and locomotive grained background

Possibility of Radioactive and Toxic WasteDisposal in a Rock Ssalt Deposits in Slovakia Combining Wells and Cavities

    Get PDF
Disposal of radioactive and toxic waste in rock salt can be performed in two ways disposal in the salt mine repository or disposal in the deep wells connected with salt cavity. Presented article deals with the option of the disposal in a salt cavity at medium depths. The article also cover partially salt deposits in Slovakia and their potential suitability for waste disposal.

Drilling Process Control Using theCriterion of Specific Energy

Optimalization effort of exploitation processes follows from requirements of minimisation of operating costs and maximisation of efficiency. The article describes theoretical analysis and operational verification of minimisations criterion of specific volume energy for drilling operations. It was verified that specific volume energy sensibly reacts on change of rock type or on change of rock properties respectively thus it is able to coordinate or optimise drilling process

Realization of Borehol V1 Till V4 at Liquidation of Shaft Leopold Situated in the Solivar Part of the Town of Presov

Leopold shaft is situated in the Solivar part of the town of Presov, object (object of National Cultural Monument Gapla). Strong ascent of the level of natural salt brine resulted in the change of stress state of rock massif with subsequent deformation of shaft reinforcement and endangering stability of its surroundings and possibly affecting the surface. After the thorough evaluation of the findings the mining complex was to be liquidated. The shaft liquidation will consist of the system of independent, yet indivisible measures that will ensure long-term safety of the surface surrounding the Leopold shaft
