Furnace chemical vapor deposition (FCVD) method for special optical fibers fabrication
The features of the Furnace Chemical Vapor Deposition (FCVD) method of manufacturing preforms for special optical fibers are considered. It is shown that misalignment of substrate silica tube and furnace hole axes has a negative effect on the quality of fabricated preforms, leading to angular and radial asymmetry of the refractive index profile. Ways of getting rid of this and other disadvantages of the FCVD method are described. Some advantages of the FCVD method over the MCVD method are shown. It was demonstrated that the FCVD method, despite some drawbacks, allows to manufacture high-quality fiber preforms with good symmetry of the refractive index profile, and thus it is promising for fabrication of dispersion, dispersion varying and active fibers
Reduction of Nitrogen Oxides Emissions from a Coal-Fired Boiler Unit
During combustion of fossil fuels a large amount of harmful substances are discharged into the atmospheres of cities by industrial heating boiler houses. The most harmful substances among them are nitrogen oxides. The paper presents one of the most effective technological solutions for suppressing nitrogen oxides; it is arrangement of circulation process with additional mounting of the nozzle directed into the bottom of the ash hopper. When brown high-moisture coals are burnt in the medium power boilers, generally fuel nitrogen oxides are produced. It is possible to reduce their production by two ways: lowering the temperature in the core of the torch or decreasing the excess-air factor in the boiler furnace. Proposed solution includes the arrangement of burning process with additional nozzle installed in the lower part of the ash hopper. Air supply from these nozzles creates vortex involving large unburned fuel particles in multiple circulations. Thereby time of their staying in the combustion zone is prolonging. The findings describe the results of the proposed solution; and recommendations for the use of this technological method are given for other boilers

ΠΡΠΈ ΡΠΈΡΠΈΡΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΠΈ Π΄ΠΎΠΊΡΠΌΠ΅Π½ΡΠ°, ΠΈΡΠΏΠΎΠ»ΡΠ·ΡΠΉΡΠ΅ ΡΡΡΠ»ΠΊΡ http://essuir.sumdu.edu.ua/handle/123456789/34528The thesis is devoted to the study of magnetooptical and optical properties, structural- phase state, morphology and formation conditions of arrays of Ni and Co nanoparticles (NPs) by thermal dewetting of thin metal layers on amorphous substrates. In this work, the effect of thermal annealing conditions, substrate material, initial effective film thickness on the morphology of NP arrays was studied. By method of transmission electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy the structural phase state of Ni and Co NP arrays on polyimide (PI) substrates has been studied, as well as the phase formation in structures based on Cu film and Ni (Co) NP arrays on PI (Si3N4/Si) substrates. Morphology of NP arrays on Si3N4/Si substrates was investigated by atomic force microscopy. Magnetooptical properties of thin Ni and Co layers has been studied before and after annealing. The theoretical modeling of magnetic hysteresis loops of Ni and Co NP arrays done. According to spectroscopic ellipsometry data calculated average thickness of Co NPs correlates well with the value of average NPs height on AFM images.
The studies allowed to develop guidelines for using of thermal dewetting thin metal layers method for producing of magnetic Ni and Co NP arrays with a narrow size distribution over large substrates.

The article provides an analytical assessment of the crisis condition of engineering industry business entities. As the assessment methods were used statistical method, establish causation, integral indicator for the models of bankruptcy probability, integrated indicator of crisis, cluster analysis by the level of adaptive capacity and discriminant analysis. As a result of the application of these methods the analytical conclusions were done. Established that the engineering industry is indeed in crisis due to a number of problems solution of which must occur at the national level. The article deals with theoretical aspects of correlation between integration and immigration processes. After the research of current theoretical background related to the international economic integration the authors believe that the so-called triad Β«integration processes - waves of innovation - migration processesΒ» should be examined individually. That is to say, the dynamics of an inheriting wave of innovation is consistent with the mobility of correlation between scarcity and redundancy of labour supply. This implies expediency of the regulatory action on these processes, including the implementation of the selective immigration policy and reasonable emigration policy, which may be either confirmed or rejected in an econometric framework, making it possible to trace the correlation of the immigration processes and performance of GDP in individual countries, members of integration associations

Fire has always been remained as the main natural factor devastating forest ecosystems and outlining the status and resource potential of boreal forests. INTEGRATION PROCESSES AND THEIR EFFECT ON IMMIGRATION POLICY
The article deals with theoretical aspects of correlation between integration and immigration processes. After the research of current theoretical background related to the international economic integration the authors believe that the so-called triad Β«integration processes - waves of innovation - migration processesΒ» should be examined individually. That is to say, the dynamics of an inheriting wave of innovation is consistent with the mobility of correlation between scarcity and redundancy of labour supply. This implies expediency of the regulatory action on these processes, including the implementation of the selective immigration policy and reasonable emigration policy, which may be either confirmed or rejected in an econometric framework, making it possible to trace the correlation of the immigration processes and performance of GDP in individual countries, members of integration associations

The article deals with the impact of inο¬ow of foreignpopulation on the GDP of a country (Russia). For the ο¬rst time in the Russian practices statistical researchmethods have been used to evaluate the degree ofsuch inο¬uence for Russia. This is a groundbreaking innovative approach. The correlation ratio for thedepartures from trend for the seven yearsβ period, the correlation ratio for the departures from trendfor the ten yearsβ period, and the correlation ratio for the departures from trend with the time implicationsare compared with each other. In order to ensure the accuracy of the results the correlation ratio for thedepartures from trend with the time implications hasbeen chosen and calculated mathematically for thetwo parameters such as the inο¬ow of foreign population and Russiaβs GDP.
