Cram\'er-type Moderate Deviation of Normal Approximation for Exchangeable Pairs
In Stein's method, an exchangeable pair approach is commonly used to estimate
the convergence rate of normal and nonnormal approximation. Using the
exchangeable pair approach, we establish a Cram\'er-type moderate deviation
theorem of normal approximation for an arbitrary random variable without a
bound on the difference of the exchangeable pair. A Berry--Esseen-type
inequality is also obtained. The result is applied to the subgraph counts in
the Erd\"os--R\'enyi random graph, local dependence, and graph dependency.Comment: 38 page
Entanglement concentration for unknown atomic entangled states via entanglement swapping
An entanglement concentration scheme for unknown atomic entanglement states
is proposed via entanglement swapping in cavity QED. Because the interaction
used here is a large-detuned one between two driven atoms and a quantized
cavity mode, the effects of the cavity decay and thermal field have been
eliminated. These advantages can warrant the experimental feasibility of the
current scheme.Comment: 4 page
Bounded Gaps Between Products of Distinct Primes
Let be an integer. We adapt the Maynard-Tao sieve to produce the
asymptotically best-known bounded gaps between products of distinct primes.
Our result applies to positive-density subsets of the primes that satisfy
certain equidistribution conditions. This improves on the work of Thorne and
