Re-evaluation of neutrino mixing pattern according to latest T2K result
We re-evaluate neutrino mixing patterns according to the latest T2K result
for a larger mixing angle , and find that the PMNS mixing matrix
has larger deviations from bimaximal (BM) and tribimaximal (TB) mixing patterns
than previously expected. We also find that several schemes connecting PMNS and
CKM mixing matrices can accommodate the latest T2K result nicely. As necessary
updates to former works, we make new triminimal expansions of PMNS mixing
matrix based on BM and TB mixing patterns. We also propose a new mixing pattern
with a self-complementary relation between the mixing angles , and find such a new mixing pattern in

Complementarity in direct searches for additional Higgs bosons at the LHC and the International Linear Collider
We discuss complementarity of discovery reaches of heavier neutral Higgs
bosons and charged Higgs bosons at the LHC and the International Linear
Collider (ILC) in two Higgs doublet models (2HDMs). We perform a comprehensive
analysis on their production and decay processes for all types of Yukawa
interaction under the softly-broken discrete symmetry which is introduced to
avoid flavour changing neutral currents, and we investigate parameter spaces of
discovering additional Higgs bosons at the ILC beyond the LHC reach. We find
that the 500 GeV run of the ILC with the integrated luminosity of 500 fb^{-1}
shows an advantage for discovering the additional Higgs bosons in the region
where the LHC cannot discover them with the integrated luminosity of 300
fb^{-1}. For the 1 TeV run of the ILC with the integrated luminosity of 1
ab^{-1}, production processes of an additional Higgs boson associated with the
top quark can be useful as discovery channels in some parameter spaces where
the LHC with the integrated luminosity of 3000 fb^{-1} cannot reach. It is
emphasized that the complementary study at the LHC and the ILC is useful not
only to survey additional Higgs bosons at the TeV scale, but also to

Distribution of HNCO 5 in Massive Star-forming Regions
The goal of this paper is to study the spatial distribution of HNCO in
massive star-forming regions, and investigate its spatial association with
infrared sources, as well as physical conditions in region of HNCO emission. We
have mapped nine massive star-forming regions in HNCO 5 with the
Purple Mountain Observatory 13.7m telescope. The C18O maps of these sources
were obtained simultaneously. The HNCO emission shows compact distribution,
with emission peak centred on water masers. Nearly all the HNCO clumps show
signs of embedded mid-infrared or far-infrared sources. The FWHM sizes of HNCO
clumps are significantly smaller than C18O clumps but rather similar to HC3N
clumps. We also found good correlation between the integrated intensities,
linewidths and LSR velocities of HNCO and HC3N emission, implying similar
excitation mechanism of these two species. As such, collisional excitation is
likely to be the dominant excitation mechanism for HNCO 5
emission in galactic massive star-forming regions.Comment: 9 pages, 4 figures, accepted by A&
Higgs Decay with Minimal Flavor Violation
We consider the tentative indication of flavor-violating Higgs boson decay
recently reported in the CMS experiment within the framework of
minimal flavor violation. Specifically, we adopt the standard model extended
with the seesaw mechanism involving right-handed neutrinos plus effective
dimension-six operators satisfying the minimal flavor violation principle in
the lepton sector. We find that it is possible to accommodate the CMS
signal interpretation provided that the right-handed neutrinos
couple to the Higgs boson in some nontrivial way. We take into account
empirical constraints from other lepton-flavor-violating processes and discuss
how future searches for the decay and conversion in
nuclei may further probe the lepton-flavor-violating Higgs couplings.Comment: 15 pages, no figures, minor errors corrected, references added,
