Uniqueness of directed complete posets based on Scott closed set lattices
In analogy to a result due to Drake and Thron about topological spaces, this
paper studies the dcpos (directed complete posets) which are fully determined,
among all dcpos, by their lattices of all Scott-closed subsets (such dcpos will
be called -unique).
We introduce the notions of down-linear element and quasicontinuous element
in dcpos, and use them to prove that dcpos of certain classes, including all
quasicontinuous dcpos as well as Johnstone's and Kou's examples, are
-unique. As a consequence, -unique dcpos with their
Scott topologies need not be bounded sober.Comment: 12 pages. arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with

Investigation of the Coupling Paths of a Galvanically Isolated AC/AC Converter
A galvanically isolated three-phase AC/AC converter with a high-frequency AC-link has been analyzed from an EMC point of view. This is a special configuration because of a large number of switches, a high frequency transformer, and a fourwire output. The essential coupling paths are identified.\ud
Corresponding suppression remedies are given. The results, before and after measures, have been presented to demonstrate the improvement in EMC.\ud

A study on thermal characteristic and sleeping comfort of a hybrid solar heating system applied in cold rural areas
A hybrid solar heating system combining a solar kang subsystem and a solar air heating subsystem for keeping indoor space within thermal comfort level has been investigated in this article for the climatic conditions of Qinghai Province (35°N 96°E)- China. The main aim of the current research is to study the hybrid heating system's thermal characteristic and the sleeping comfort for occupants of rural buildings. A mathematical model to study the hybrid heating system has been developed and the results have been validated by conducting an experimental study at a building located in Qinghai province. The influence of the different solar thermal collector areas, insulation levels of wall, thermal sensation of the system and different operation strategies have been investigated. It has been observed that the indoor temperature can be improved by up to 6°C when the ambient temperature is -7.8°C (average). By changing the solar collector area from 4m2 to 8m2, kang surface average temperature can be improved from 22°C to 31°C. Thermal load of sleeping can also be held steady within acceptable levels when the beddings insulation value is maintained at 4.0clo during night time. It has been observed that without auxiliary power, making the kang system work only at night would be more suitable in the experimental condition
Design and implementation of conducted emission reference source
To meet the requirement of doing periodic inter-laboratory verification and self assessment, a device so called reference source is crucial. In this paper, an existing conducted emission reference source is reviewed and a new design is proposed. The considerations are explained, preliminary results are presented thereupon, and the benefits of the design are emphasized in the conclusion
