N-Benzyl-2-hydroxybenzamide
In the title compound, C14H13NO2, the mean planes through the benzyl and 2-hydoxybenzamide units make a dihedral angle of 68.81 (7)°. There is an intramolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bond involving the carbonyl O atom and the 2-hydroxy substituent. In the crystal structure, N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link symmetry-related molecules into one-dimensional chains extending along the a-axis direction. These chains are further connected via C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a sheet-like structur
Secure Direct Communication Based on Secret Transmitting Order of Particles
We propose the schemes of quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) based on
secret transmitting order of particles. In these protocols, the secret
transmitting order of particles ensures the security of communication, and no
secret messages are leaked even if the communication is interrupted for
security. This strategy of security for communication is also generalized to
quantum dialogue. It not only ensures the unconditional security but also
improves the efficiency of communication.Comment: To appear in Phys. Rev.
Dynamics of ferromagnetic bimerons driven by spin currents and magnetic fields
Magnetic bimeron composed of two merons is a topological counterpart of
magnetic skyrmion in in-plane magnets, which can be used as the nonvolatile
information carrier in spintronic devices. Here we analytically and numerically
study the dynamics of ferromagnetic bimerons driven by spin currents and
magnetic fields. Numerical simulations demonstrate that two bimerons with
opposite signs of topological numbers can be created simultaneously in a
ferromagnetic thin film via current-induced spin torques. The current-induced
spin torques can also drive the bimeron and its speed is analytically derived,
which agrees with the numerical results. Since the bimerons with opposite
topological numbers can coexist and have opposite drift directions, two-lane
racetracks can be built in order to accurately encode the data bits. In
addition, the dynamics of bimerons induced by magnetic field gradients and
alternating magnetic fields are investigated. It is found that the bimeron
driven by alternating magnetic fields can propagate along a certain direction.
Moreover, combining a suitable magnetic field gradient, the
Magnus-force-induced transverse motion can be completely suppressed, which
implies that there is no skyrmion Hall effect. Our results are useful for
understanding of the bimeron dynamics and may provide guidelines for building
future bimeron-based spintronic devices.Comment: 8 pages, 8 figure

Melodic Phrase Segmentation By Deep Neural Networks
Automated melodic phrase detection and segmentation is a classical task in
content-based music information retrieval and also the key towards automated
music structure analysis. However, traditional methods still cannot satisfy
practical requirements. In this paper, we explore and adapt various neural
network architectures to see if they can be generalized to work with the
symbolic representation of music and produce satisfactory melodic phrase
segmentation. The main issue of applying deep-learning methods to phrase
detection is the sparse labeling problem of training sets. We proposed two
tailored label engineering with corresponding training techniques for different
neural networks in order to make decisions at a sequential level. Experiment
results show that the CNN-CRF architecture performs the best, being able to
offer finer segmentation and faster to train, while CNN, Bi-LSTM-CNN and
Bi-LSTM-CRF are acceptable alternatives
