    Controversies in the Management of Endometrial Carcinoma

    Endometrial carcinoma is the most common type of female genital tract malignancy. Although endometrial carcinoma is a low grade curable malignancy, the condition of the disease can range from excellent prognosis with high curability to aggressive disease with poor outcome. During the last 10 years many researches have provided some new valuable data of optimal treatments for endometrial carcinoma. Progression in diagnostic imaging, radiation delivery systems, and systemic therapies potentially can improve outcomes while minimizing morbidity. Firstly, total hysterectomy and bilateral salphingo-oophorectomy is the primary operative procedure. Pelvic lymhadenectomy is performed in most centers on therapeutic and prognostic grounds and to individualize adjuvant treatment. Women with endometrial carcinoma can be readily segregated intraoperatively into “low-risk” and “high-risk” groups to better identify those women who will most likely benefit from thorough lymphadenectomy. Secondly, adjuvant therapies have been proposed for women with endometrial carcinoma postoperatively. Postoperative irradiation is used to reduce pelvic and vaginal recurrences in high risk cases. Chemotherapy is emerging as an important treatment modality in advanced endometrial carcinoma. Meanwhile the availability of new hormonal and biological agents presents new opportunities for therapy

    Prostaglandins (PGs), a group of key lipid mediators, are involved in numerous physiological and pathological processes including inflammation and cardiovascular homeostasis. Each PG acts on its specific and distinct cell surface G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) or peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs). Prostaglandin F2α receptor (FP) is required for female reproductive function such as luteolysis and parturition. It has recently been implicated in blood pressure regulation, atherosclerosis and other inflammation-related disorders. The emerging role of FP in cardiovascular diseases is highlighted and potential therapeutic translation is discussed in the current review

    A Detection Method for Phishing Web Page Using DOM-Based Doc2Vec Model

    Detecting phishing web pages is a challenging task. The existing detection method for phishing web page based on DOM (Document Object Model) is mainly aiming at obtaining structural characteristics but ignores the overall representation of web pages and the semantic information that HTML tags may have. This paper regards DOMs as a natural language with Doc2Vec model and learns the structural semantics automatically to detect phishing web pages. Firstly, the DOM structure of the obtained web page is parsed to construct the DOM tree, then the Doc2Vec model is used to vectorize the DOM tree, and to measure the semantic similarity in web pages by the distance between different DOM vectors. Finally, the hierarchical clustering method is used to implement clustering of web pages. Experiments show that the method proposed in the paper achieves higher recall and precision for phishing classification, compared to DOM-based structural clustering method and TF-IDF-based semantic clustering method. The result shows that using Paragraph Vector is effective on DOM in a linguistic approach

    Investigating the topological structure of quenched lattice QCD with overlap fermions by using multi-probing approximation

    The topological charge density and topological susceptibility are determined by multi-probing approximation using overlap fermions in quenched SU(3) gauge theory. Then we investigate the topological structure of the quenched QCD vacuum, and compare it with results from the all-scale topological density, the results are consistent. Random permuted topological charge density is used to check whether these structures represent underlying ordered properties. Pseudoscalar glueball mass is extracted from the two-point correlation function of the topological charge density. We study 33 ensembles of different lattice spacing aa with the same lattice volume 163×3216^{3}\times32, the results are compatible with the results of all-scale topological charge density, and the topological structures revealed by multi-probing are much closer to all-scale topological charge density than that by eigenmode expansion.Comment: 12 pages,34 figure
