    Get PDF
The special geographical conditions in the below constructed area of the surface have caused the poor oil-water well condition, incomplete well patterns, difficult measures for tapping potential, and no effective development of reserves, which have affected the comprehensive adjustment of Fuyu oilfield. In order to solve this problem, the shallow large platform horizontal well technology was studied in Fuyu oilfield by taking Chengping 12 reservoir as an example. This technology has been successfully applied under limited ground conditions, and underground reserves have been fully utilized. This study has laid a solid foundation for fuyu oilfield to increase recoverable reserves and achieve stable production during the 12th Five-year plan

    Get PDF
Sequenceā€specific recognition of peptides is of enormous importance to many chemical and biological applications, but has been difficult to achieve due to the minute differences in the side chains of amino acids. Acidic peptides are known to play important roles in cell growth and gene expression. In this work, we report molecularly imprinted micelles coded with molecular recognition information for the acidic and hydrophobic side chains of acidic peptides. The imprinted receptors could distinguish acidic amino acids from other polar and nonpolar amino acids, with dissociation constants of tens of nanomolar for biologically active peptides containing up to 18ā€…amino acids

The indispensability of each form has been studied and is described in this paper. Through analysis of the reliability of the two basic forms, reliability models of the organization management chain in the series connection state and the mixed state of both series connection and parallel connection have been set up

Strength Calculation Method of Bedding Rock Based on Improved Hoek-Brown Criterion Considering the Effect of Critical Confining Pressure

    Get PDF
Rock is a commonly used building material. Studying rock properties can reduce production time and cost, improve production efficiency and construction safety. Therefore, rock mechanics characteristics, especially strength, have always been a hot field of rock mechanics. Classical strength criteria such as the Mohr-Coulomb (M-C) criterion and Hoek-Brown (H-B) criterion are based on rock strength homogeneity and cannot reflect the characteristics of layered rock strength changing with azimuth. Therefore, it is necessary to modify the classic strength criterion to reflect layered rock anisotropy. Based on existing triaxial test results and rock anisotropic strength properties, an improved H-B criterion for rock anisotropy considering the effect of critical confining pressure is proposed in this paper, which can be used to calculate the strength of layered rocks. Taking slate as an example, the calculation results of the improved H-B criterion show that: 1.Ā the improved H-B criterion can mostly control the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) of McLamore slate test results within 30%, which is obviously better than the classical H-B criterion and has good extrapolation ability; 2.Ā the material parameters m, n are determined by test results and inversion analysis, which avoids the arbitrariness. The proposed method can be used as a supplementary and alternative method to estimate or calculate the strength of layered rock

SoC-Tuner: An Importance-guided Exploration Framework for DNN-targeting SoC Design

Designing a system-on-chip (SoC) for deep neural network (DNN) acceleration requires balancing multiple metrics such as latency, power, and area. However, most existing methods ignore the interactions among different SoC components and rely on inaccurate and error-prone evaluation tools, leading to inferior SoC design. In this paper, we present SoC-Tuner, a DNN-targeting exploration framework to find the Pareto optimal set of SoC configurations efficiently. Our framework constructs a thorough SoC design space of all components and divides the exploration into three phases. We propose an importance-based analysis to prune the design space, a sampling algorithm to select the most representative initialization points, and an information-guided multi-objective optimization method to balance multiple design metrics of SoC design. We validate our framework with the actual very-large-scale-integration (VLSI) flow on various DNN benchmarks and show that it outperforms previous methods. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work to construct an exploration framework of SoCs for DNN acceleration.Comment: ASP-DAC 202

Improved Brain-Storm Optimizer for Disassembly Line Balancing Problems Considering Hazardous Components and Task Switching Time

    Get PDF
Disassembling discarded electrical products plays a crucial role in product recycling, contributing to resource conservation and environmental protection. While disassembly lines are progressively transitioning to automation, manual or humanā€“robot collaborative approaches still involve numerous workers dealing with hazardous disassembly tasks. In such scenarios, achieving a balance between low risk and high revenue becomes pivotal in decision making for disassembly line balancing, determining the optimal assignment of tasks to workstations. This paper tackles a new disassembly line balancing problem under the limitations of quantified penalties for hazardous component disassembly and the switching time between adjacent tasks. The objective function is to maximize the overall profit, which is equal to the disassembly revenue minus the total cost. A mixed-integer linear program is formulated to precisely describe and optimally solve the problem. Recognizing its NP-hard nature, a metaheuristic algorithm, inspired by human idea generation and population evolution processes, is devised to achieve near-optimal solutions. The exceptional performance of the proposed algorithm on practical test cases is demonstrated through a comprehensive comparison involving its solutions, exact solutions obtained using CPLEX to solve the proposed mixed-integer linear program, and those of competitive peer algorithms. It significantly outperforms its competitors and thus implies its great potential to be used in practice. As computing power increases, the effectiveness of the proposed methods is expected to increase further

Background: Camellia oleifera (C. oleifera) is a woody edible oil crop of great economic importance. Because of the lack of modern biotechnology research, C. oleifera faces huge challenges in both breeding and basic research. The protoplast and transient transformation system plays an important role in biological breeding, plant regeneration and somatic cell fusion. The objective of this present study was to develop a highly efficient protocol for isolating and purifying mesophyll protoplasts and transient transformation of C. oleifera. Several critical factors for mesophyll protoplast isolation from C. oleifera, including starting material (leaf age), pretreatment, enzymatic treatment (type of enzyme, concentration and digestion time), osmotic pressure and purification were optimized. Then the factors affecting the transient transformation rate of mesophyll protoplasts such as PEG molecular weights, PEG4000 concentration, plasmid concentration and incubation time were explored. Results: The in vitro grown seedlings of C. oleifera 'Huashuo' were treated in the dark for 24 h, then the 1st to 2nd true leaves were picked and vacuumed at - 0.07 MPa for 20 min. The maximum yield (3.5 x 10(7)/g.W) and viability (90.9%) of protoplast were reached when the 1st to 2nd true leaves were digested in the enzymatic solution containing1.5% (w/v) Cellulase R-10, 0.5% (w/v) Macerozyme R-10 and 0.25% (w/v) Snailase and 0.4 M mannitol for 10 h. Moreover, the protoplast isolation method was also applicable to the other two cultivars, the protoplast yield for 'TXP14' and 'DP47' was 1.1 x 10(7)/g.FW and 2.6 x 10(7)/g. FW, the protoplast viability for 'TXP14' and 'DP47' was 90.0% and 88.2%. The purification effect was the best when using W buffer as a cleaning agent by centrifugal precipitation. The maximum transfection efficiency (70.6%) was obtained with the incubation of the protoplasts with 15 mu g plasmid and 40% PEG4000 for 20 min. Conclusion: In summary, a simple and efficient system for isolation and transient transformation of C. oleifera mesophyll protoplast is proposed, which is of great significance in various aspects of C. oleifera research, including the study of somatic cell fusion, genome editing, protein function, signal transduction, transcriptional regulation and multi-omics analyses

Negative energy balance (NEB) causes economic losses to dairy farms around the globe. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of NEB on energy metabolism, reproduction, etc. during early lactation in dairy cows on intensive farms in Heilongjiang, China. According to Ī²-hydroxybutyric acid (BHBA), glucose (GLU), Non-esterified fatty acid (NEFA) levels, and clinical manifestations 14-21 days postpartum, 118 cows were divided into a positive energy balance (PEB) group (BHBA2.8, NEFA1.2, GLU0.7 mmol/L, n=51). These indicators were analyzed by cross-sectional research methods combined with Pearson correlation analysis and a prospective cohort study. The results showed that at 14-21 days postpartum, compared with the PEB, the body condition score, body condition loss (BCL), milk urea nitrogen, BHBA, NEFA, the interval from calving to first estrus (ICFE), pregnancy per artificial insemination (P/AI), and calving interval were higher (P2,8, NEFA1,2, GLU0,7 mmol/L; n=51).

The objectives of the trial were to investigate the effects of supplementing vitamin E (VE) on nutrient digestion, nitrogen (N) retention and plasma parameters of beef cattle in feedlot. Four growing Simmental bulls, fed with a total mixed ration composed of corn silage and concentrate mixture as basal ration, were used as the experimental animals. Four levels of VE product, i.e. 0, 150, 300, 600 mg/head/d (equivalent to 0, 75, 150, 300 IU VE/head/d), were supplemented to the basal ration (VE content 38 IU/kg dry matter) in a 4Ɨ4 Latin square design as experimental treatments I, II, III and IV, respectively. Each experimental period lasted 15 days, of which the first 12 days were for pretreatment and the last 3 days for sampling. The results showed that supplementing VE did not affect the nutrient digestibility (p>0.05) whereas decreased the urinary N excretion (p0.05). It was concluded that supplementing VE up to 300 IU/head/d did not affect the nutrient digestibility whereas supplementing VE at 150 or 300 IU/head/d increased the N retention and the plasma concentrations of VE and TG (p<0.05) of beef cattle
